EXTERIOR
This humble Ford Fiesta being the Popular Plus model is not quite entry level specification but there is still an air of ‘everything you need but not a lot else!’ The original factory paintwork in Burgundy Red (Code E1) remains incredible with a deep glossy shine and uniform finish. Only minor touched in scratches, mainly to the bonnet, can be seen upon close inspection and a chip to the screen are barely worthy of mention. All the trim, rubbers, lights and number plate etched glass are as new. Supplying dealer number plates and rear screen sticker remain fitted to further emphasise this cars true originality. A wonderfully preserved example, virtually unseen in this condition.

INTERIOR
Perfect in every respect and commensurate with only 11,665 miles covered. The interior of this incredible example epitomizes the term factory fresh and will virtually transport any occupant back to a 1990 Ford showroom! The Medley seat trim in Shadow colour scheme (code LZ) retains all fullness with no wear or damage to the fabric. The instrument binnacle, door cards and headlining are flawless, and the steering wheel still has the prominent natural veins only found on very low mileage examples. The boot area has no lose luggage damage with an unmarked grey carpet and factory stickers to the boot floor visible. All the instruments, micro-switches and driver controls function correctly including the Ford Keycode stereo. The term ‘time warp’ is often used loosely, but this lovely Fiesta entirely deserves the accolade.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The 1118cc HCS four cylinder engine featuring twin venture carburettor and original manual choke set up produces a sedate 54bhp at 5200rpm. A top speed of 88mph and 0-60 is achieved in 14.9 seconds. The spotless engine bay has original plates, stickers and factory panel stampings clearly visible. A Ford Motorcraft oil filter and the red Ford HT Leads remain fitted, and all fluids are clean and clear. Operating just as it should, the optional CTX automatic transmission provides continuous varying drive for a relaxed and effortless driving manner.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The factory steel wheels of size 4½ x 13 are in perfect order and the correct Ford wheel centre covers remain fitted. Matching branded 145/80 R13 tyres have masses of tread remaining and no cracking to the rubber. HISTORY FILE
Registered new on the 19th December 1990 by Ford Main Dealers GK Group of Chesham, this exceptional example was purchased by a Mrs Joan Reynolds who after five years ownership gave it to her daughter Mrs Diane Fualls who has owned it ever since! MODEL HISTORY
Built by Karmann alongside the regular Escort Cosworth, the Monte Carlo was named in tribute to Francois Delecours’s victory on the 1994 Monte Carlo rally. Available from February 1994 in a numbered limited run of just 200 examples. The Monte Carlo was offered with or without the Aero Pack and in a choice of three colours: Mallard Green, Ash Black or Jewel Violet. The interior of this desirable Escort RS Cosworth Monte Carlo Edition is almost pristine with the Recaro recliners finished in multi-coloured Raven Flow upholstery. The Motorsport logos embroidered on one thigh support along with the alloy gearknob and matching alloy handbrake button are all present and unique to this model. Also unique, is the steering wheel with the diamond-shaped perforated sections in excellent condition. Genuine Ford carpet mats are fitted and the Dawn Grey headlining is unmarked. Lifting the bonnet will delight perfectionists who will discover a clean as new spectacle. The powerful and well proven Cosworth 2.0 litre 16v turbocharged YBT engine features the blue painted cam cover denotes a number of significant changes over the older YBG unit of the Sierra RS Cosworth and power is quoted at 227bhp with 0-60 in 5.9 seconds and a top speed of 140mph. The permanent Ferguson four wheel drive system with 34/66% front/rear power split mated to a MT 75 5-speed gearbox is light and direct.

All trim sections are excellent and the 1300L wing badges remain intact. INTERIOR
The interior of this Escort 1300L is beautifully preserved and commensurate with a low mileage cherished example. The original seat coverings in blue vinyl, (code EA) are clean and show no damage. Only faint markings to the top edge of the rear bench backrest are visible. The headlining is tight and unmarked, and the black deep looped pile carpets are in remarkable order. Two small holes and a hairline crack can be seen in the rear parcel shelf. The thin steering wheel with padded centre is in amazing order, as are all controls and rockers switches. The padded dash top and wood effect trim are both exceptional. This car really is a beautiful, unspoilt place to be and just as Ford intended.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The immaculate engine bay with factory plates, stickers and wing top stampings still present is home to the original 1298cc OHV engine which fires up immediately and provides a delightful engine note. With 57bhp, 0-60mph in 15.9 seconds and a top speed of 90mph current day usage is possible. The diaphragm spring type clutch feels positive and smooth with a precise four speed gearbox. An absolute joy to operate and a true reflection of the low mileage this car has covered.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The standard pressed steel wheels with original chrome centre caps remain on the car and are shod with quality branded Firestone F-560 155/R12 tyres with masses of tread. The wheels and hub caps are in outstanding condition. The boot area has factory markings visible and houses the spare wheel alongside the near impossible to source original boot mat and blue jack. The all-round drum brakes fall short of modern standards but bring the car up to a straight assured halt.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on the 1st August 1975 this Mk1 Escort would have been one of the final cars off the production line and has been father and son owned since it was less than two years old! Purchased by Mr Hubert Powell in July 1977, it was kept by him until ownership passed to his son David in September 1988 who has owned it ever since. The supplying Ford Main Dealer was Tricentrol Cars (Luton) Ltd and even the original dealer tax disc holder is in the history file! Having covered a mere 29,855 miles from new, this cared for and very much loved Escort remains unspoilt and a real credit to its former keepers.

This incredible special edition Laser was built as a run out model of the Capri and is beautifully finished in Ford Paris Blue (code 35), a cost option when new. A deep mirror shine from the stunning paint finish is worthy of pride of place at any show, with only a tiny marking is visible where the offside wiper arm meets the scuttle panel. All factory fitted panels are straight with linear gaps and the exterior trim items and decals are pristine to firmly cement the fantastic appeal of this very special car. A clean underside free from overuse of underseal allows inspection to see the good structural integrity. Hard to source fitments such as the rubber spoiler and colour coded front grill are excellent. The supplying Ford Main Dealer rear screen sticker remains fitted. This unmolested example remains exactly as Ford intended and is certain to delight the blue oval enthusiast.

INTERIOR
The interior is in excellent condition finished in the ‘Truro II’ cloth trim (code XE) with matching door and quarter panel inserts. The original material to the seats is spotless and remarkably wear free and the colour matched carpeting and headlining are both clean and free from discoloration. The dashboard displays just one hairline crack and two very small drill holes to the top. All controls fully function including the two-speed heater fan and analogue quartz clock. A period Ford stereo is fitted but is not working. An iconic and instantly familiar classic Ford interior.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This Capri is in excellent mechanical order having been well maintained by its previous keeper and subject to a complete overhaul. The 1993cc OHC unit with twin sequential venturi carburettor pulls incredibly well with a top speed of 113mph and 0-60mph time of 9.6 seconds. This engine has 37 per cent more power and 30 per cent more torque than the 1.6 OHC yet has better fuel economy making it the more desirable choice. The engine bay is beautifully clean with the original Ford battery cover and factory stickers and plates displayed. The 5 speed gearbox is light and works through the gears precisely, and the clutch feels positive.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
This Capri Laser remains fitted with the factory RS-style four-spoke alloy wheels which are in pristine order with no damage. Five matching 185/70 R13 tyres have plenty of tread remaining and the immaculate spare alloy wheel, original jack and wheel brace are housed in a clean boot floor with factory markings visible. The hydraulic dual-line servo-assisted front discs and rear drums stop the car quickly and in a straight line.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on 1st August 1986 by main dealers Laidlaw Ford, this example has had just three keepers from new and covered 86,653 miles. The previous keeper Mr Mike Derry, proprietor of Foremark Garage Ltd in Rutland has owned the vehicle since 2014 and undergone a complete restoration. EXTERIOR
This iconic RS2000 is finished in ultra rare and desirable Nordic Blue which was only produced from August 1979 to production end in July 1980. The vehicle boasts an amazing deep show shine with a polished finish that will really impress onlookers. All trim sections, RS decals and badges remain intact and are in excellent order. Custom Bronze tinted glass is fitted and the rubbers and door seals are soft and black. The polyurethane droop snoot is straight a perfectly colour matched along with all other panels thanks to a photographed and invoiced expensive restoration in 2010. In 1991 damage to the nearside front wing resulted in an insurance total loss payment. One of the genuine Cibie headlights has a small stone chip. The wheel recesses are detailed in body colour and the underside is spotlessly clean and black waxoyled for protection and use.

INTERIOR
Stunning and recently appointed in Custom specification with Black Beta Plus Fabric by renown and trusted experts, Aldridge Trimming Ltd. The invoice for this professionalism was £1,991.29. The undamaged fascia and dash top houses fully functional gauges and equipment and the original leather bound three spoke steering wheel remains fitted in perfect condition. The quartz clock is operational as is the heater fan on both settings. The carpets and door cards are in excellent condition and a retro Autosound stereo has been fitted. Very close to a new showroom experience in 1980!

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The original 1993cc SOHC engine has avoided the hugely common modification trend and is factory standard with amazing attention to detail. Recently rebuilt to run on unleaded with a full decoke and new valve stem liners amongst other work with invoices to prove. Performance figures of 108.2mph top speed and 0-60 in just 8.5 seconds are more than respectable, even for modern standards. The standard four speed synchromesh gearbox remains exactly as Ford intended and has benefitted from an overhaul in 2014.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Machined polished RS style four spoke 6J x 13in alloy wheels are in immaculate order with matching Yokohama A539 185/60 R13 tyres including the spare. Vacuum servo assisted front disc brakes with rear drums brakes offer fair braking but fall short of modern standards.

HISTORY FILE
Supplied new by Ford Rallye Sport Dealers, The Hendy Lennox Group in Southampton on the 14th March 1980 this Mk2 RS2000 has had just six former keepers. Inspired by the now Late Colin McRae’s victorious Ford Focus RS World Rally Car, the Ford Focus RS was created as a no frills, no compromise road going rally car, a car true to its motorsport roots. Designed in conjunction with Ford Racing Engineers and M-Sport in Cumbria, the RS badge synonymous with the most desirable, high performance Ford vehicles was first introduced to the already accomplished Focus. Only 4,501 examples were built with only 2,147 sold to the UK market.

The original Focus RS while an undiluted road going rally car, it certainly is not a stripped out racer with compromised comfort. Inside this white hot Ford is graced with a pair of body-hugging Sparco road-race seats swathed in luxurious Racing Black and Blue Leather and Black Alcantara (code AR). The RS and Sparco logos are embossed and stitched into the upholstery, and this coupled with the aluminium fittings, push button start and numbered plaque, you are left with little doubt this is no ordinary Focus! As you would expect from a car having covered just 7,157 miles, the interior condition is flawless and undeniably showroom fresh. The genuine RS carpet mats have been protected by grey Focus carpet mats. Ford built this car to truly delight its motorsport loving RS devoted fan base, and they hit it just right!

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Fitted with the Ford 2.0 Duratec RS four-cylinder 16v unit needing little introduction, the power output achieved is 212bhp at 5500rpm and 310Nm torque at 3500rpm. The pristine 8 x 18in Oz Racing rims are brand new with all four being replaced. Shod in Michelin Pilot Sport 225/40 ZR18 tyres which are again brand new. Peer through the large openings between the spokes and you will simply be amazed at the beautifully detailed and spotless Brembo 4-pot calipers and 324mm ventilated discs, which of course are capable of providing immense stopping power.

HISTORY FILE
Built on 17th September 2003 and registered new on 29th September 2003, a new car sales invoice from supplying main dealer, Lifestyle Ford of Tunbridge Wells, depicts a purchase price of £21,499.99. Ford reputedly made a loss of around £4,000 on each car sold, but such was demand when the cars were new that used examples were sold for more than list price! First owner Mr S Coppard kept the car for just 5 weeks and covered only 300 miles as his wife found the suspension too harsh. Subsequently a used car purchase invoice from the same supplying Ford Dealer confirms the car was then sold to second keeper Mr M Richey for £24,683.83. He kept the car garaged with only minimal use until the third and final keeper Mr N Cade-Westcombe purchased the car in May 2013. It was he who has since embarked on the incredible process of detailing to an eye watering standard.
The history file is truly incredible and beautifully presented. All original handbooks, service books and special RS supplement are contained within the Ford wallet, and a second Ford leather RS wallet houses further point of sale literature. Even the original pressed metal number plates remain with the car alongside a metal AA grill emblem, a real suggestion of enthusiast ownership! The sunroof is operational but stiff. INTERIOR
Finished in factory original ‘Ghia’ spec Durham and Crushed Velour trim in Blue colour scheme (code GK), the seats and condition of the fabrics are fully commensurate with such a low mileage and cherished example. The matching door cards with wood inserts are spotless and the colour keyed cut pile carpets have defied the years remarkably. All switchgear is functional, and the soft finish dashboard is completely free from the all too common cracking issues, almost unheard of! The parcel shelf is intact, straight and complete with the correct cord hangers. Even the factory Ford RST 21P push button radio cassette remains fitted and functional! ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The time proven transverse mounted 1300 OHC engine with single variable-venturi carburettor develops 69bhp, ample to keep in flow with modern traffic. The engine is wonderfully quiet and smooth, owing in no doubt to a lifetime of documented fastidious care and maintenance by the previous keepers including the last owner, a Mechanic by trade. The standard specification automatic choke and electronic ignition are both present and correct, and operate perfectly. The four speed synchromesh gearbox with remote shift is light and exact, a joy to use.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Five pristine 5” x 13” styled road wheels with spotless bright finish wheel centres and rim embellishers are shod in matching 155/80 R13 tyres with masses of tread remaining. The black painted edges to the wheel holes remain correct as per factory build, often lost upon wheel refurbishment. The diagonally split hydraulic circuit servo assisted brakes with ventilated 9.4in front discs and 7.0in rear drums bring the car up to a steady, straight and assured halt.

HISTORY FILE
Supplied new on 23rd April 1981, this delightful example has enjoyed a lifetime of incredible care and fastidious maintenance with just four keepers in total. The second long term keeper purchased the car in 1984 and kept in for an incredible 26 years, during which time a complete log of the mileage year by year was kept! MODEL HISTORY
Five hundred extra special examples of the 150 mph Ford Sierra RS Cosworth went on sale in Britain on August 1st 1987. This more powerful ‘evolution’ model was introduced to allow Ford to develop the original limited production run of 5,000 needed to allow the car to be homologated for International Touring Car Racing in Group A. Aston Martin at Tickford were assigned with converting the 500 cars and in addition to the more powerful 224bhp engine, (with the potential to exceed 400bhp in race trim), numerous aerodynamic features were incorporated in the bodywork. These include a 30mm lip spoiler applied directly to the rear edge of the tailgate to increase rear downforce. New and larger cooling ducts were included in the design of the front bumper for the intercooler and the front brakes, as well as an aerodynamic splitter. The vehicle was only available through 90 specialist Ford RS (Rally-Sport) dealers in Britain at a cost of £19,950. (Source Ford News Release 87/76). This example is build number 455/500.

The commanding exterior of this RS Cosworth is breath-taking and nothing short of simply magnificent. Finished in ultra rare Ford White, (just one of 56 made), the paintwork boasts a deep gloss shine from the original, unrestored factory finish. All exterior trim, glass and lights remain free from damage as does the vulnerable front splitter. The unique silver coachline and RS500 badges applied to the front wings and tailgate are still present. Date stampings are visible on key areas such as the inner wings and tailgate and even the discreet Ford logo can be seen on the slam panel. The underside is spotlessly clean and perfectionists will marvel at seeing the PDI colour dabs. A truly incredible car in an astonishing preserved condition.

INTERIOR
The interior of this RS500 is simply beautiful. Finished in Ford Roma Grey (code S2), the Recaro seats and carpeted door trim are in remarkable condition with no wear or discolouration and completely commensurate with a very low mileage example. The driver’s seat bolster still has a soft velvet feel with perfect shape and the carpets are spotless. The interior equipment and trim is original and free from any modification or additions. A Cobra Cat1 alarm and Trafficmaster Trackstar were fitted in 2007 to enable GPS tracking. All dials and gauges operate perfectly and show healthy readings and the dashboard is immaculate having suffered no cracks or discolouration. The first aid kit is still in its protective film. The boot area is factory fresh with floor stickers present. A fantastic 1980’s interior, the embodiment of driving pleasure and excitement.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The Cosworth YBD-Series 2.0 litre, 16 valve twin overhead camshaft, four cylinder, fuel injected, turbocharged and intercooled engine which in road use, (as per this example), is tuned to develop 224bhp. Features over a regular Cosworth include a Garrett T31/T04 turbocharger, twin fuel injectors for each cylinder, pressurised oil cooling for each of the engine’s pistons and a larger capacity oil and water pump. Expect 0-60 in 6.2 seconds and a top speed of 153mph. The engine bay is incredible in its originality and condition and boasts all the correct engine and chassis identification numbers. The gear changes are precise and tight with progressive clutch action thanks to a new cable being fitted.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Correct and undamaged factory fitted 15 X 7 inch aluminium alloy (ATS) wheels are shod in Dunlop SP Sport D40 205/50 VR15 tyres. The spare has never been fitted and is immaculate. Four wheel disc brakes with ABS and a hydraulic booster stop the car with confidence. The ABS module has been replaced due to an intermittent warning light and the rear brake pads have been replaced due to the originals starting to break up.

HISTORY FILE
Build number 455/500 has led a sheltered pampered life with each of the four former keepers acting as appreciative respectful custodians. Discovered by Joe Macari of Performance Cars London while visiting a wealthy owners Ferrari collection in Germany this pristine example just had to return with him. A deal was struck and in 2007 after being registered by Joe Macari himself it was sold for a record sum to a Ford enthusiast. The factory decals and correct green insert remain in pristine condition and even the supplying Ford Main dealer number plates are included but reproduction ones are currently fitted. The underside is totally original having not been detailed and the factory applied coating is dry. A small section of paint lift around the inner boot lock mechanism is evident and left untreated in order to uphold originality. INTERIOR
Once behind the leather trimmed sports steering wheel and tightly secured in the supportive Recaro seats, the privileged occupants will appreciate the absolute time warp feel of this very special car. The seat trim in Ascot Raven (code LA) retains all fullness and the driver/passenger seats have been swapped. The black instrument binnacle, door cards and headlining are factory perfect. The carpeting has been protected by four tailored Ford carpet mats from new and even the boot carpet is date stamped. The unique grey leather gear knob shows a few markings. All the instruments, micro-switches and driver controls function correctly, as does the Ford Keycode radio cassette. An interior virtually synonymous to a showroom example at a Ford RS Outlet in 1991!

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The 1.6 OHC fuel injected engine with Garrett AiResearch T2 turbo charger and intercooler produces 131bhp and 183Nm of torque. Figures quoted at 7.7 seconds to 60mph and a top speed of 127mph make this a true ‘hot hatch’. The engine bay is simply incredible with all the Ford labels, stickers and Ford stamps on the hoses. The often misplaced plastic battery cover remains fitted and the blue strut top factory markings are clearly visible. Even the dealership breakdown sticker remains attached to the bonnet underside! The 5-speed transmission works seamlessly with a progressive clutch action and short shift.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Unique and highly distinctive three-spoke alloy wheels display only a few tiny markings only detectable upon close scrutiny. Five correct Pirelli 185/55 R14 tyres are fitted with good tread levels, although renewal prior to regular use would be prudent due to the age of the rubber. The servo-assisted diagonally split brakes with 241mm ventilated discs up front and 203mm drums at rear bring to car up in a safe and steady manner.

HISTORY FILE
This rare example of Ford’s first RS Fiesta was supplied by Ford Main Dealers Tate Ford Manchester Ltd on the 25th April 1991 to a Mr J Tomlinson. A substantial history file contains Ford Main dealer service invoices and previous MOT certificates, which along with the original stamped service booklet, support the amazingly low 24,039 miles covered. A major service and cambelt change was carried out at Ford Main Agent Paynes of Hinckley in August 2015 at 23,868 miles with supporting invoice and service stamp. All six former keepers have been enthusiasts and include prominent club members such as the Dorset RSOC Chairman, Mr Green.

The original Ford document wallet also contains all handbooks, guides and dealership literature, and the fastidious buyer will appreciate being made aware that the leather to the grey wallet has deteriorated. Three keys with the plastic keycode tags are present.

With a short production of just two years from 1990 to 1992, prior to the introduction of the Fiesta RS1800, this represents a truly rare RS Ford with this example undoubtedly one of the best, unmolested examples in existence.

The exterior of this range topping 1300XL is truly fantastic both in its condition and originality having covered a mere 25,336 miles from new. Finished in optional Ford Tawny Brown (code S), the largely factory original coating has a deep polished shine and a pleasing uniform finish which is outstanding. Very minor touched in stone chips and light scratches in no way detract from the fantastic appearance of the car. Equally the immaculate boot area houses the jack with correct and often lost rubber bung and spare wheel with the original cross ply tyre. Structurally this car is remarkable having been Endrust treated from new, the injection holes holes still visible in the door shuts. A very discreet lowering of just one inch gives the car an awesome stance without detracting from its humble beginnings. A real eye catcher!

INTERIOR
The interior of this cherished top of the range example has been beautifully preserved. The XL specific deeply embossed upholstered seats in Black (code AA) are virtually unworn and absolutely commensurate with the cars incredible low mileage. The headlining is tight and very clean. This XL model features the GT style larger instrument binnacle to house the extra gauges including oil pressure, temperature, battery indicator and tachometer. The fascia remains absolutely intact with all simulated wood cappings present and all functions and controls operating perfectly. Only minor wear to the black loop pile carpeting can be seen. This interior really is a beautiful, unspoilt place to be and exactly how Ford intended.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Originally fitted with Fords 1298cc OHV Crossflow unit, a 1650cc Crossflow engine has been fitted out of an Escort Harrier with twin 40 Webber carburettors and full Ashley exhaust system. The work has been completed to an exceptional standard, the previous keeper being an engine builder by trade. Importantly, absolutely all components have been carefully retained to enable simple conversion back to standard should the new owner desire, including the matching numbers factory fitted low mileage engine. The engines fires up immediately and provides an exhilarating engine note with more than enough capability to keep up with modern traffic. A wonderfully original and spotlessly clean engine bay still displays the factory plates and tags and the strut top chassis number remains clearly visible. Even the hardboard sump guard remains intact, virtually unheard of! The four speed gearbox with synchromesh on all forward gears allows light and precise progression up the range, an absolute joy to operate.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Four desirable and valuable Lotus Cortina pressed steel wheels are in pristine condition and shod in matching quality 185/60 R13 Avon tyres with masses of tread. The wheels give the car an tremendous presence whilst retaining the classic ‘oldskool’ Ford look. The standard pressed steel wheels with original chrome hub caps have been retained with the car. A conversion to Capri 2.8 front struts with vented discs and single leaf rear springs allow improved handling and stopping capabilities, again with all original components carefully stored and retained with the car.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on 5th January 1973 by Ford Main Dealers Temple Meads Motors of Bristol, this brilliant example has had just three owners from new and covered a mere 25,336 miles. A new vehicle order form and subsequent invoice made out to first owner Mr Eric Beaver depicts a purchase price including optional extras of £1,047.74. Upon his passing in 1990 ownership of the car went to his son Colin Beaver who garaged the car unused until the third keeper Mr Martyn Compton purchased it. A substantial MOT history fully documents the exceptionally low mileage with MOT certificates missing only for the years between 1991 and 2003 when the car was off the road and inherited by Mr Beaver Jnr. Mr Compton has enjoyed the car for classic shows and no less than six Snowdonia Tours. It is highly regarded within the Ford community.
The original Temple Meads Motors black plastic document wallet contains the service booklet, handbook and even the Endrust guarantee card and ‘Do’s and Don’ts’ rear view mirror hanger! The large history folder further consists of many receipts and invoices throughout the life of the vehicle, including supporting documentation and list of modification undertaken whilst owned by the previous keeper. The car represents a fantastic testament to a true Ford icon with tasteful modifications undertaken sympathetically by an individual aware of how special this car is. Absolutely all components to convert this example back to factory standard have been carefully stored to be retained with the car.
