EXTERIOR
This fantastic little Ford Fiesta Ghia has been beautifully preserved and cherished within the same family from brand new!  The paintwork finished in Ford Glacier Blue (code 53) has a fantastic bright shine and polished uniform finish.  Incredibly only minor stone chips to the front can be detected on an otherwise remarkable paint finish and the chrome insert around the windscreen is slightly tarnished.  All original panels are straight, free from corrosion and display linear gaps including the original factory date stamp front wings.  The unmolested appeal of this special vehicle is accentuated by standard trim sections, bumpers and wide body-side mouldings, correct and in immaculate order.  All glass is number plate etched and the original Kiney headlamps remain fitted.  A truly impeccable example of Ford’s luxury supermini.

INTERIOR
The interior of this remarkable example is in exceptional original condition and exactly as Ford intended.  The Savoy fabric trim in Blue colour scheme (code DR) is spotlessly clean and the common vulnerable areas for wear such as the seat bases and bolsters are undamaged.  The colour-keyed velour carpet is clean and the perforated neutral tone headlining is flawless.  Some of the factory protective plastic wrapping is still attached underneath the seats and even the date tags on the seatbelts remain attached!  All switchgear is functional and intact, and the soft finish dashboard is perfect.  The header mounted digital clock retains the correct green LCD display and the original Ford stereo radio/cassette remains fitted and functional.  The hugely difficult to source trimmed parcel shelf is intact, straight and complete with the correct rubber hangers.  This well-appointed Fiesta is the embodiment of a prized modern classic Ford.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The time proven transverse mounted 1117cc OHV engine with single-venturi carburettor develops a spirited 50bhp.  In such a lightweight and nimble car, performance while perhaps not adrenaline-charged is certainly fun, and the unmistakable exhaust note is delightful!  A spotlessly clean engine bay displays factory stickers, plates and panel stampings to gratify the avid enthusiast and allow for show exhibiting.  The four speed synchromesh gearbox is light and exact.  A nostalgic drive guaranteed!

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The original 13” X 5” steel wheels and special Ghia full wheel covers are in pristine order with no damage whatsoever and the 155/70 R13 tyres have masses of tread remaining.  Dual line servo assisted brakes with ventilated 9.4” front discs and 7.0” rear drums bring the car up to a steady, straight and assured halt.

Guaranteed to draw much admiration at any classic car show and ready for fun and enjoyment, this example is ready for its next appreciating owner to appreciate and preserve.
