EXTERIOR
If you were part of the RS Owner’s Club concours scene in the late 1990’s, then this multi-concours winning car requires no introduction. It is now fully recommissioned and back on the road after 26 years of dry storage. There are numerous differences between and 88 and 90-spec cars, albeit there are some 88-spec crossover cars that had some features from the 90-spec. The notable changes for 90-spec cars include front bumpers with larger scalloped air intakes, larger rear spoiler with down-swept side fins, and boot decals in hollow font to contrast the early 88-spec solid font. Finished in original Radiant Red, (Code P 9), the car boasts the most amazing deep shine and uniform finish with little ore than a few light touched in scratches and paint blebs. All factory panels are pin straight with even shut lines and spotless door apertures. All Sekurit glass is factory fitment as are the Carello headlamps, driving lamps and Ford light clusters. Having enjoyed much concours success with a plethora of winning trophies, the underside and wheel arch apertures are spotlessly clean and detailed whilst retaining the factory unmodified standard. Utterly stunning from any angle.

INTERIOR
Interior revisions for the 90-spec, again with some examples of 88-spec crossover, include seat upholstery with Zolda, (Code LW), replacing Roma fabric, revised headlining with addition of rear courtesy light, extended centre console to incorporate handbrake surround, fuel and temperature gauges swapped around, addition of intermittent wipers, and Quickclear heated front screen as standard. The interior of this remains exactly as Ford intended, even down to the highly coveted factory optional model 2007 stereo with separate power amplifier, fully working. The supportive Recaro seats are clean and relatively wear free with one small neat dot repair to the driver’s outer lower bolster. Matching door cards are in superb condition with no shrinkage or plastic fatigue to the inner door handles, an issue affecting many an example. The headlining is tight with no damage and spotless carpets are preserved with tailored RS Owner’s Club mats. Truly unspoilt.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The 1.6 OHC (CVH) fuel injected engine with a Garrett AiResearch T3 turbo charger and intercooler is completely factory standard. Producing 132bhp in such a lightweight car, the 0-60mph sprint is dealt with in 8.2 turbo induced seconds and a top speed of 128mph. Genuine Motorcraft/Fomoco service parts are visible including oil and fuel filters, correct grey HT leads and the genuine Ford battery cover remains. The pristine engine bay displays all plates, labels and stickers as well as inner wing date stamps, Ford oval stamps and factory seam sealer. A lesser know 90-spec revision is the deeper inner wing profile which in turn allows a deeper expansion tank to be fitted. The 5-speed manual gearbox is light and precise.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The instantly recognisable RS Turbo alloy wheels are immaculate with clearly defined part number and size stamping often lost upon heavy refurbishment. Five premium and correct Goodyear Eagle NCT 195/50 R15 tyres are fitted with plenty of tread remaining. This fast Ford legend stops as well as it goes with the ABS braking system designed in conjunction with Lucas Girling working perfectly.

HISTORY FILE
Manufactured in June 1990 at the Saarlouis assembly plant in Germany and registered new on the 11th October 1990 by main dealers, Hartford Motors (Banbury) Ltd, this fabulous example has covered 60,985 miles from new. The previous owner, Mr Clack, purchased the car in June 1997 from a performance car specialist having answered their advert in the Midland Autotrader. The actual advert is in the history file whereby Mr Clack could have alternatively chosen from their other stock including a Cavalier 2.0 16v Turbo, Fiesta RS Turbo, XR3i Cabriolet and a Peugeot 205 GTi to name a few! Clearly, Mr Clack chose this 57,000-mile RS Turbo and the used vehicle sales invoice in the file confirms he paid £5,300. Confident in the knowledge he had bought a real gem and being an RS Owner’s Club member, he prepared the car for concours events which involved careful and meticulous detailing while ensuring the car was totally standard with retention of genuine Ford parts. The late 1990’s saw the car compete highly successfully in RS Owner’s club concours events with Concours Logbooks in the history file outlining at least seven first place wins and three second place. Various supporting trophies have also stayed with the car. The owner took the car off the road in late 1999 where it stayed in dry storage until 2025 when it was recommissioned for his daughter’s wedding as her transport to the ceremony. The owner has, understandably, kept photographs of his daughter as a baby in the car in the late 1990’s as well as one of her in the car on the wedding day in 2026 as a wonderful memento.

The recommissioning work was carried out in August 2025 by renowned specialists, The Motorist, who carried out a major service, cambelt and water pump, brake overhaul, fuel system overhaul as well as items such as a refurbish the original radiator and new alternator. The owner even sourced a new old stock one-piece genuine Ford exhaust which has been fitted. The invoice for the works completed in the history file amount to almost £3,000. A further service using genuine Ford parts has been done in October 2026. The colossal history file is neatly presented in chronological order and all handbooks, guides and service book are in the Ford document wallet. The car is a true credit to it previous custodian of 29 years and the next owner will reap the benefits of his utterly dedicated ownership.

A cult classic from its inception, this wide-body BMW roadster looks formidable finished in flawless Bright Red, (Code 314). The long and muscular bonnet housing the legendary BMW straight six-cylinder engine and short rear end, are true BMW Roadster characteristics, while the traditional kidney grille and front side air vents are synonymous with the marque. The factory paintwork boasts a stunning deep shine and uniform finish, and all panels are pin-straight with no dings or noteworthy damage other than a touched in mark to the offside sill and light scratch to the nearside rear corner. The factory electric soft-top retains its deep black colouring thanks to garage storage and the plastic rear screen is very clear with virtually no markings. Underside and wheel apertures are exceptionally clean and clearly representative of low mileage, fair weather use. All trim sections and badges are in excellent order and light clusters crystal clear. Supplying dealer tax disc holder and number plates remain fitted with slight delamination to the front plate corner. A fine example throughout.

INTERIOR
The cockpit of the Z3 is inclined to the driver and instantly recognisable as traditional BMW. The 2.8 model came with electrically adjustable seats in Oregon Leather and the original owner specified expensive heated Sports seats in Tanin Red/Black, (Code Q2TD). Commensurate with the exceptionally low mileage, the hide is well preserved and spotlessly clean with no colour loss to the Tanin Red and only slight markings to the drivers Black sections. The leather trimmed M steering wheel shows virtually no wear and colour coded genuine BMW mats have protected the carpets from new. The chrome-line interior really lifts the look inside the cockpit and part of this is the M chromed gear knob showing some slight wear to the top edge. The pristine dashboard houses fully functioning equipment including the on-board computer and original BMW Business stereo all with perfect LCD displays. Another expensive factory optional is the air conditioning costing £936.17. The immaculate boot area neatly stores the rear tonneau cover, original full toolkit, jack and warning triangle. HISTORY FILE
Supplied new by BMW main dealers, Specialist Cars Limited of Stevenage, on the 24th March 2000, the car was pre-registered by the dealership before being registered the following day to Mr Jones, the first private owner. This range topping 2.8 wide-body example has enjoyed a pampered existence and remained with the first owner for 15 years until 2015 when it was bought by the second keeper who has owned the car ever since. Having covered just 20,804 miles from new, with two private owners, the car is preserved in remarkable condition. There are six stamped entries in the original BMW service book, the initial five being the supplying dealership until 2018 at which point the car was taken off the road and dry stored. According to the 1970 VW Brochure in the history file, the new VW 1302 S 1600cc Super Beetle was the most powerful, most exciting and most comfortable Beetle ever and combined with a sports car chassis, has the full driver package! This championship winning UK example was registered on the 1st October 1971 by Volkswagen main dealer, Pooles of Portsmouth Ltd. Mr Dingell was the conscientious owner until 1996 and the car has only had two former keepers in total. The last custodian for nearly a decade, Mrs Magaret Keohane, specifically wanted a rare 1302 S model and immediately entered it into the 2017 VW Stanford Hall Concours event. Despite the low mileage, there are 19 stamps in the original service book, 18 of which are the supplying Vauxhall main dealer! EXTERIOR
An established name for almost 50 years, Bilbo’s are highly sought after and regarded for the highest standard in campervan and motorhome conversions. This 2002 Volkswagen T4 was converted from new to the Bilbo’s Celeste specification and is finished in Volkswagen Nebio Blue Metallic, (Code LL5Y). The paintwork presents very well throughout and there is no significant body damage, scuffs or scrapes worthy of mention. Small markings and stone chips relative to the age and mileage are visible but certainly do not spoil this lovely looking vehicle. All body panels are fully intact and remarkably straight, and the underside is structurally superb with zero evidence of repair work. The low-lie side elevating roof raises and lower easily and when raised you can see that it is very clean, fully intact and watertight. All glass, rubbers and trim are well preserved, and a nice touch is the original Bilbo’s number plate surround and boot badge still in place and well as all Celeste decals and stripes.

INTERIOR
The interior of this high specification conversion is entirely original and preserved in amazing condition. The cab area is beautifully clean, and the carpeting remains fitted. The captain chairs each with two adjustable armrests are clean and only the driver’s seat has some faint bobbling to the material, utterly insignificant. The door cards are fully intact but show some light discoloration and a tiny hole to the driver’s side. The fascia is in superb condition and all equipment is fully functioning including the ice-cold air conditioning, original stereo and perfect LCD displays. The habitation area is immaculate and fully equipped as per the above specification. The triple rear seat with three seat belts effortlessly folds into a bed for two adults and there is an option to purchase a bed space board in the roof to sleep up to four persons. This interior is fabulous in all areas throughout. The Galatone hardwearing fabric trim has seen little use, and certainly with no dirty overalls! The steering wheel and gear knob have no wear with defined grain. A very tastefully enhanced interior begins with front seats from a Series 2 Escort RS Turbo which have been professionally retrimmed in Popular/Bonus specification Klee Raven fabric to match that of the door cards and rear seat. The upholstery is unworn, clean and the seats retain firm bolsters and bases with immaculate door cards. The dashboard is fully intact and the upper centre console has been neatly modified to fit around the XR2 lower console. The original thin steering wheel has some aging. ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Lift the bonnet on this Popular Plus and you are not greeted with a 1.1 Kent Crossflow. Instead, the 2.0 Litre Silver Top Zetec engine sourced from a low mileage Mk1 Mondeo that had covered just 30,000 miles has been professionally and neatly transplanted. The impressive specification listed above in the build particulars leaves endless cope for more power extraction, yet currently an impressive circa 150bhp is achieved, three times that of the standard 49bhp it left the factory with! The engine bay is neatly presented and clean and all servicing and maintenance is up to date. The performance is phenomenal, huge grin inducing fun yet not too uncivilised as to become tiresome. The rebuilt Series 2 Escort RS Turbo gearbox operates well and the car is easy to drive.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
An original set of correct steel wheels have been professionally refurbished and banded to 6.5J to give the car a fantastic stance with a nod to it humble origins. The wheel finish looks great with a high fleck metallic and there are a few tiny markings to the outer rims, barely noticeable. A choice of immaculate centre caps comes in the form of the standard small black caps or a set of half wheel caps from the plush Fiesta L. Matching Nankang AS-1 performance tyres of size 175/50 R13 are fitted all round including to the XR2 Pepper pot spare. This creation stops as well as it goes with drilled and grooved front discs in XR2 size and XR2 calipers the main uprated features.

HISTORY FILE
This Fiesta left the Cologne plant in January 1989 as a modest 1.1 Popular Plus and was registered new on the 21st March 1989 by Trimoco Ford in Chelmsford. The car remained in standard fettle until around the mid 2000’s when it was acquired by a specialist firm called Ignition Advantages, who are experts in building mainly racing Fiestas. The car at this time had just 21,000 miles on the clock and in one magazine feature was described as being “mint and complete with original dealer number plates and window stickers still in place”. The car was acquired as an unfinished project but, now in the hands of experienced experts, it could really take shape. Initial plans were ambitious with the intention of creating a drag car, however time and day-to-day work got in the way and the owner decided to finish the initial build Max Power style and enjoy the car as it stands today. There have been several magazine features in prominent Ford publications including Performance Ford and Classic Ford, copies of which remain in the history file. The previous owner of almost ten years, aptly named Mr Ford, has enjoyed the car immensely but having decided to buy KGF Classic Cars’ stunning Mercury Grey Ford Escort RS Turbo Series 2, knew the Fiesta had to go to make way for his new toy!
