EXTERIOR
An iconic supermini from Peugeot, largely credited for turning Peugeot’s fortunes around in the 1980’s, the 205 needs little introduction and was indeed awarded Car Magazine’s ‘Car of the Decade’ in 1990! This amazing limited edition ‘Look’ has covered just 28,152 miles from new and remains totally original, preserved and unspoilt. Finished in factory optional Topaz Blue metallic, (Code M0LZ), the paint finish is in fantastic order with a bright uniform finish. The lightweight body panels known to be easily dinged are remarkably straight and critical eyes will detect little more than a few light touched in scratches mainly to the nearside front wing. The ‘Look’ badges and decals are as new and all trim sections are fully intact. The underside is remarkably well preserved thanks to garage storage from new. Factory Peugeot Sekurit glass, supplying dealership rear number plate and rear screen sticker underline the time warp credentials. Rarely found in such prime condition.

INTERIOR
Fitted with the special edition ‘Look’ interior featuring Blue Stratos Tweed seat trim with matching door inserts, it is clear to see this low mileage example has truly been cherished. Terms such as ‘time warp’ are sometimes used loosely, however they are entirely justified in this instance. The upholstery displays no visible wear, and all interior trim is showroom fresh. The fascia is pristine and all controls and gauges operate seamlessly including the original Clarion stereo. Specially tailored ‘Look’ carpet mats are fitted too. The boot area is simply immaculate, with the painted under mat area as new and the rear seat belt reel housings even have factory stickers still attached. Reminiscent of a 1990 Peugeot Talbot showroom car, this very special 205 is hugely nostalgic.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Fabulous, fun and spirited, this 1124cc TU1 engine produces 53bhp and is a real delight to drive. Simplistic maintenance and excellent parts availability keep running costs to a bare minimum. The engine bay is very clean and displays all factory stickers and plates as well as 205 inner wing stamps, PDI markings and painted colour code. Even the factory hand applied rocker cover sign-off is still clearly visible! The 4-speed gearbox is light with a positive clutch action.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The original steel wheels still wear the factory full width wheel trims which are in very good order. Five replacement quality brand 155/70 R13 tyres have covered approximately 1,000 miles other than the spare which is unused. Split circuit servo-assisted brakes incorporating front discs and rear drums offer assured stopping power.

HISTORY FILE
Supplied by Peugeot Main Dealers, Carrs of Castleford, on the 2nd August 1990, the first lady owner cherished her pride and joy for 25 years. KGF Classic Cars purchased the car directly from the owner’s family in 2019 and are now delighted to see it back again. All the handbooks contained in the black A5 folder remain with the car including the service book with ten stamped entries, the most recent being a service and cambelt change in March 2026. Two sets of Peugeot keys, dealer keyring and the original key code tags are present as is a special edition 205 Look brochure. A neatly organised file of invoices and history documents is also included. Named Car Magazine’s ‘Car of the Decade’ in 1990, the year this car was made, the Peugeot 205 was regarded as the benchmark for superminis for many years and this exemplary example is a fitting tribute to this accolade. An unmissable opportunity for the collector, avid Peugeot enthusiast, or indeed perfect as a starter classic. Definitely worth a ‘Look!’

Volkswagen Beetle 1300

FOR SALE
A delightfully original UK Volkswagen Beetle 1300 with only 56,516 miles.

EQUIPMENT
Chrome window trim, chrome bumpers, chrome wheel covers, running boards, horn pad with Wolfsburg crest, hazard lights, dash illumination adjustment, interior light, padded dash, collapsible steering column, fuel gauge, assist straps, headlight flasher, two-speed fresh air blower, bezel vents, sill vents, glove box, driver’s door pocket, twin sunvisors, grab handle, coat hooks. Dealer Options: Radiomobile push-button stereo. Accessories: Rear seat belts.

EXTERIOR
The unmodified, unspoilt and preserved nature of this delightful Beetle 1300 is truly wonderful and fondly reminiscent of a far simpler motoring age. Finished in Volkswagen Kasan Red/Kasanrot, (Code L30B), the vibrant finish to the paintwork is superb with only very light imperfections consisting of touched in marks and small areas of thin paint on bonnet edges from years of overzealous polishing. All utterly insignificant and underline the remarkable originality. The factory panels are damage free and uniformly even and the doors shut with a reassuring thud. Originality seekers will delight at the original VW etched tasglass, badges, factory wax injection plugs and inner door shut stickers. Even the octane sticker to the inside of the petrol flap remains fitted! All chrome bumpers and trim pieces are intact and boast a brilliant shine. Fortunately, no imitation parts here with the factory fitted Hella headlamps and Hella rear lamps in perfect condition. The underside is excellent and has never been welded, almost unheard of for a Beetle! A delightfully humble and unmolested example of a motoring icon.

INTERIOR
The original black leatherette interior is spotless with all seats and matching door cards fully intact and remarkably free from wear. The factory fitted padded steering wheel with Wolfsburg crest is pristine, as is all other fully functioning controls and switchgear, even the dealer fitted Radiomobile push-button stereo! The factory sticker to the inner glovebox lid remains and the headlining is clean, fully intact and displays only very light discolouration around the rear seams. The front luggage compartment displays factory plates and stickers and houses the original spare wheel still feeding the pneumatic washer system, a system sadly often removed in favour of an electric washer pump. Remarkable.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The matching numbers standard air-cooled rear mounted engine produces 52bhp from its 1285cc displacement enabling a top speed of 78mph with the unmistakable Beetle engine note delightfully pronounced but completely unobtrusive. The engine bay is amazingly clean. Even the now somewhat primitive Volkswagen diagnostics plug remains fitted! The fully synchronized 4-speed gearbox works perfectly offering ease of use once familiarised.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The original pressed steel wheels are in superb condition and dressed in immaculate chrome half wheel covers which are original items rather than inferior aftermarket fitment. Period correct Vredstein Sprint Classic 155 SR15 tyres were sourced from Vintage Tyres in October 2024 at considerable cost and have covered less than 1000 miles. The dual circuit drums front and rear operate freely, offering modest yet perfectly adequate stopping power when compared to modern vehicles, exactly as they were made!

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on the 13th October 1972, the supplying Volkswagen Main Dealer was Walter Scott Ltd of Pavillion Road, London. This incredible Beetle 1300 has covered a warranted 56,516 miles from new. Only very rarely does a classic car come with such an amazing history file, which in this instance begins with the original service booklet containing the supplying dealer stamp plus a further 40 stamped entries from 1972 to October 2024! Each entry records the date and mileage to fully verify the authenticity and illustrate the cars continual enjoyment throughout the last 54 years. Furthermore, a huge history folder is beautifully presented with many previous MOT certificates and specialist invoices for service and maintenance work. All original handbooks, guides, warranty book and dealership literature have been kept along with two sets of keys and an original sales brochure. Even the VW Diagnosis Punch Card Booklet with the original build sticker is present!

Sold by KGF Classic Cars in 2018 and again in 2024, the car has been enthusiast owned and in the case of the previous owner, was garaged alongside his show winning Vanden Plas Princess 1300. Attendance at the annual pilgrimage for Volkswagen enthusiasts, the Tatton Park VW Show, saw the car earn runner up prize in the ‘Beetles from 1968 on’ category at the 2023 event. A feature in Classsic Car Weekly dated March 2008 is full of glowing praise. A car that has thankfully evaded the modifiers and neglectful owners to now remain one of the best unmolested examples available with amazing supporting history.

EXTERIOR
An instant success upon launch in 1998 and following on from the Ka, Puma, Cougar and revised 1996 Mondeo, the Focus Mk1 used Ford’s New Edge design language and was a massive deviation from the outgoing conservatively styled Escort. Finished in factory optional Honour Green metallic, (Code W 3), this late Mk1 example has covered just 9,627 miles from new with just one owner up to February 2026. The paint finish boasts a uniform deep shine and body panels are pin straight with no dings or scuffs. Nothing other than a few light stone chips and touched in marks are visible. With most estates used as workhorses, this cosseted Focus is ready for practical retro motoring with added convenience of genuine Ford roof bars!

INTERIOR
Truly worthy of the accolade, time warp. The Martre upholstery in Midnight Black, (Code AT), is immaculate with no visible wear, entirely as you would expect for mileage covered normally within months of new registration. All interior trim is flawless and the headlining is perfect. Tailored Ford floor mats protect the pristine carpets. The engine bay is impeccable throughout with all factory labels, stickers and the VIN plate perfect. The five-speed gearbox is precise and beautifully weighted. This epitomises the brand-new Focus Mk1 driving experience that caused such a stir and motoring press acclaim in 1998!

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The LX specification 15in alloy wheels in 8×2 spoke design are immaculate as are the genuine Ford chromed centre caps with no tarnishing. Premium Uniroyal 195/60 R15 tyres have been fitted all round in March 2026 replacing the factory originals! The original space saver spare is unused. The ABS braking system performs perfectly having been fully overhauled also in March 2026.

HISTORY FILE
Supplied new on 30th June 2004 by Main Dealer, CD Brammall in Darlington, the first keeper was a Mrs King to whom the car was registered until February 2026. In stark contrast to most examples that were put into daily use in all weathers, this example was destined for a more cossetted existence. It is believed that due to the owner’s ill health the car was subject to very minimal use and upon her passing the car was registered for probate purposes to the second and only further keeper. After a period of minimal use and dry storage, the car has undergone extensive and documented recommissioning in March 2026 to include a full service using genuine Ford parts, cambelt, comprehensive brake overhaul including new callipers, discs and pads, and brand-new premium brand tyres. The car is now fully roadworthy and ready to showcase what is probably the finest Mk1 Estate you are ever likely to see. Quickly disappearing, the Mk1 Focus has always been an icon and this example will catch the attention of forward-thinking collectors and retro-car lovers alike!

The Ford document wallet holds all handbooks, guides, service book and both sets of keys with CD Brammall fob. A file of paperwork also includes an original sales brochure. A remarkable example.

HISTORY FILE
This wonderful example was registered new on 20th October 1997 by Rover Main Dealer, Caffyns Plc of Worthing. The new vehicle sales invoice in the history file is made out to first owner, Mrs Dorothy Fowell, who paid £6,501.01 for the car less part exchange allowance for her silver 1991 Rover Metro which had only covered 10,770 miles, she was clearly loyal to the brand! All welcome letters from Rover at the point of sale have been kept. The car remained in the family until 2022 during which time ownership passed to Mrs Fowell’s Grandson, David. Sold by KGF Classic Cars in July 2024 to Mr Suter who has covered around 3000 miles in dry weather and ensured upon garage storage when not in use. A house move has necessitated the sale and we are delighted to have the car offered back to us!

The history file consists of the original full Rover book pack including the service booklet. In June 2024 the cambelt and water pump was changed and in March 2026 a full service and brake inspection was carried out. A separate large history folder contains invoices and previous MOT certificates to further fully warrant the mileage. Completing the history is three sets of Rover keys with fobs and Caffyns dealer keyrings and an original 1997 Rover range brochure. The final incarnation of the Metro story, a hugely significant chapter in British motoring history and represented perfectly with this remarkable example.

Registered new on the 1st April 1976, this exceptional UK example was registered by Mason Motors in Haverfordwest. The car has had just five former keepers in total with the third, Mr Ellis-Jones, owning it from 1986 to 2012. He was responsible for undertaking the full restoration. A Motor Engineer by trade, he purchased the car from a friend in 1986 knowing how good it was with the intention was to make the car one of the finest in existence. A full strip down included sandblasting of the bodywork and meticulous refurbishment of components before a professional repaint in the original Verona Red. The project was finally completed in 2008 and a detailed letter in the history file from the third owner along with a photograph of him beside the car recounts the story beautifully. KGF Classic Cars have previously sold this rare example and were thrilled to be offered the car once more whereby the next appreciative owner will marvel in the condition and appeal of this very special car.

A neat folder containing specialist invoices and previous MOT certificates also holds a letter from BMW Group Classic Division confirming that the car was built on the 25th August 1975 and delivered on the 11th September 1975 to BMW Concessionaires G.B. Ltd in Brentford. The original book pack, spare keys and a BMW ‘02’ Series sales brochure completes the history file.

HISTORY FILE
This fantastic example of Ford’s first RS Fiesta was supplied by Ford Main Dealers, Quicks of Chester Limited, on the 8th August 1991 to Lee Robert Hannam. A passionate Ford enthusiast and a member of the RS Owners Club who part exchanged his 1990 Ford Fiesta XR2i against a total purchase price of £12,436, as revealed by the New Vehicle invoice. The fascinating history file reveals everything from the original order, Ford credit agreement, early supplying dealer service invoices and MOT certificates. As Lee also owned a S2 Ford Escort RS Turbo, the Fiesta was taken off the road in August 1996 having covered 3,794 miles and placed in careful storage. Very sadly Lee passed away and ownership transferred to his father, David Hannam in May 2016, with David being only the second recorded keeper. Booked into Ford main dealer Evans Halshaw in August 2016, the vehicle was fully recommissioned before the family made the painful decision to sell the car in 2018 along with the Escort RS Turbo. The vehicle has remained road worthy, with MOT records since and a major service and cambelt change carried out in March 2026. Supplied with all handbooks, service book and a full complement of keys. An A4 folder contains all chronically filed documents with a new car sales brochure and magazine road test from the period. With a short production of just two years from 1990 to 1992, prior to the introduction of the Fiesta RS1800, this represents a truly rare RS Ford and undoubtedly one of the best, unmolested examples in existence.

HISTORY FILE
This now very rare Mini Pick-up has luckily survived the typical life of commercial vehicle abuse and now enjoys a pampered show circuit instead! It is generally reckoned that the Minivan and Pick-up had a useful commercial life of about five years, (Source: Classic Van & Pick-up June 2011), so this example registered on the 1st August 1981 has done very well to still be here! Purchased by KGF Classic Cars in September 2019 from a classic Mini collector, Mr Coe as part of a three car deal to include two Minivans, the decision was made to keep this little gem as a promotional vehicle with an element of practicality! Mr Coe had a collection consisting of three commercials, two Coopers and a delivery mileage Mini Ritz and was passionate about anything Mini! A colossal A4 folder of history documents the massive expenditure along with a five-page magazine feature in Miniworld dated July 2002. A vehicle handbook in the grey Supercover folder and period brochure are also included. Super cool, super rare and super desirable, this little Mini has it all!

FOR SALE
A breath-taking special edition Mini Thirty with just 320 miles from new.

MODEL HISTORY
The Mini Thirty Anniversary Edition was launched in 1989, to celebrate thirty years of Mini production, the original cars having rolled off the production line in 1959. Rover held a commemorative event at Silverstone on 27th August 1989 to mark the occasion, a celebration that was heavily attended by the public, celebrities, motoring press and covered by BBC Top Gear. Three thousand cars were made in total, two thousand in Cherry Red and one thousand in Black. Both sported pearlescent paint with an extra coat of factory applied lacquer in addition to very attractive exterior and interior specification with Rover proudly stating it was the most luxury Mini ever to emerge from the factory.

EQUIPMENT

A museum grade example and one of just two thousand produced Pearlescent Cherry Red, (Code COG), this mind-blowing example has covered a genuine 320 miles from new! An unrestored example commensurate with such miniscule mileage, the paintwork boasts a beautiful deep shine created due to the extra coat of clear lacquer applied at the factory when new. Even upon meticulous scrutiny, the paintwork upholds its incredible finish and will satisfy even the most discerning collector. The original panels and underside are perfectly preserved. A miniscule crack to the offside sill finish is the only noteworthy imperfection. All the chrome is original, including the eleven-slat grille and front and rear bumpers. All distinguishing decals exclusive to the Mini Thirty remain intact and damage free and the Mini Thirty Crest bonnet badge is flawless. A truly outstanding example of this iconic classic special edition Mini.

INTERIOR
Explore the interior of this remarkable Mini Thirty where is appears as if time has stood still, and you are left in no doubt this is a car that has covered just 320 miles from new. Stunning Black Leather and Lightning design interior, (Code PMA), with sewn-in 1959-1989 Mini 30 crest on front seats present according to the mileage. Thanks to dry storage from new, the rich colour to the unique Claret deep cut pile carpets, red leather sports steering wheel and seat piping is retained and protected from UV fading and damage. The genuine rubber floor mats remain in the place. All instruments, switches gauges operate correctly and the interior plastic trim, door cards and headlining are as new. It is difficult to see how much closer you could get to a ‘new’ classic Mini interior, complete with the new car smell! A fascinating example.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Needing little introduction, the engine is the 4-cylinder transverse OHV 998cc A+ unit which pulls strongly and quietly. The engine bay featuring the unique yellow paintwork block is completely original, unmolested and exactly as Rover intended. All fragile paper labels, Unipart stickers, plates and PDI dabs are preserved. The four speed all synchromesh gearbox is impeccably smooth and light. Classic Minis are renowned for their pure simplistic fun characteristics and this example is no exception!

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Beady eyed concours judges will instantly note the correct eight-spoke Minilite alloy wheels with the wheel nuts in line with the spokes necessitating a small cut out on each spoke, as opposed some some later similar style wheels whereby the nuts sat in between the spokes. Said wheels are in pristine order with original black centre caps and the concours judges will again allow a positive tick for the factory original Pirelli Cinturato CN54 tyres to all five wheels, the spare being unused and still sporting yellow tread banding. Tyres should be replaced if the car is to be put into use but be sure to retain the originals! The servo assisted dual line hydraulic brakes operate well and all maintenance is up to date.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on 12th December 1989 by Rover Main Dealers, Grays Thurrock Motors Ltd, this Mini Thirty was destined for a cosseted existence. Purchased new by Mr Newman, the car was registered on a non-age related registration plate which has stayed on the car ever since and will remain so. The car is believed to have been a speculative purchase due to it being an Anniversary Edition built in limited numbers. The car remained in dry storage and used only a handful of times in dry conditions. In was only in around 2018 that the car was discovered in a dry garage and ownership subsequently passed to a relative, also a Mr Newman. To this day the car has covered just 320 miles with two family member owners.

Collectable items such as the hardback book outlining the 1959-1989 history of the Mini, presented to the first owner on handover, remains with the car as does a ‘Thirty Mini Years’ souvenir magazine. Furthermore, the claret leather-bound document holder, in addition to the book pack wallet has been kept and there is also an original Mini Thirty sales brochure. The car has never had its first MOT and with strong potential that it will remain in collector ownership this is how it will be offered for sale. The car, with exception of fitting of new tyres, has been fully prepared for MOT and serviced by KGF Classic Cars and should the new owner wish, a test can be arranged upon agreed sale. Two full sets of keys with code tags and aerial puller are present. The iconic Mini needs no introduction, and this preserved near delivery mileage Mini Thirty is one of the finest you are ever likely to find.
