EXTERIOR
This incredibly rare C1 Audi 100 is remains totally unspoilt and showcases remarkable originality having covered a mere 17,142 miles in the ownership of Father and Son.  The optional and factory original Malachit Metallic paintwork, (Code L96Y), displays a beautiful polished shine and uniform finish that defies its age, having been garaged all its life.  Worthy of mention are a small dent to the offside rear door and ding to the nearside front, left untreated so as to uphold originality.  Minor touched in age related marks are minimal and utterly insignificant.  All trim sections, lights, rubbers and badges are incredibly well preserved.  The Cadulac plug holes remain as evidence to the original owner’s forward thinking, knowing perhaps that he were to keep the car for almost 40 years!  The supplying dealer pressed number plates and etched glass remain fitted.  A fantastic testament to Audi build quality and the fastidious ownership this car has enjoyed.

INTERIOR
The posture-formed upholstery in Amber velour, (Code 31), has remained in perfect preserved condition thanks to the fitment of tailored heavy duty polythene covers from new.  A near museum-like cabin space with the amazing condition of the seats visible through the clear plastic is simply remarkable.  All interior trim sections, door cards, headlining and fascia are as new.  The carpet has been well protected with only very light furring to the pile in the driver’s footwell and transmission tunnel.  The original Sharp RC-2000 radio and electric aerial still functions.  Originality seekers will delight at factory stickers on the door shuts, paint code sticker in the boot and even the new car running in schedule in the windscreen!  Arguably the most original and preserved example in existence, one for the serious Audi collector.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Fitted with the four-cylinder 1871cc engine with two-stage carburettor and automatic choke, a performance output of 112bhp achieves a top speed of 111mph and sales literature quotes 0-60 in 10.8 seconds.  The beautifully clean engine bay is totally standard and original with Audi NSU panel stampings, chassis stamp, factory plates and even PDI markings still visible!  The four speed all synchromesh gearbox is precise and a joy to use.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The standard steel wheels with original Audi stamped hub caps remain in fantastic order with only minor age-related markings.  Incredibly, the factory fitted Michelin XAS radial ply tyres remain fitted which whilst showing good visual order and tread, replacement and storage of originals would be a wise safety precaution.  The steering-stabilising braking system incorporates discs to the front and ribbed rear drums for efficient heat dissipation, provides excellent stopping power from this safety conscious manufacturer.

HISTORY FILE
Supplied new by Audi Main Dealers, The Dovercourt Motor Company Limited of London, on the 13th October 1976, this example was one of the very final C1 models prior to the launch of the C2.  The first owner purchased the car to go alongside his virtually identical example which was even in the same colour of Malachit Metallic!  The new car sales invoice and receipt confirms the price paid of £4,028.81 and it remains in the history file alongside the sales invoice for his identical car purchased 18 months prior.  The original Audi document wallet houses all handbooks, guides and even the Dovercourt tax disc holder.  Remarkably and despite the low mileage, the original service booklet contains 14 stamped entries from the first in 1976 at 78 miles to the most recent in October 2017 at 17,119 miles.  Even the Cadulac Corrosion Preventative application certificate dated six days prior to first registration has been kept!  Furthermore, the impressive history file contains previous MOT certificates dating from the first in 1979 to the most recent.  Completing the history file is the original blue V5 document prior to registration to his son after his Father, the original owner, passed away in 2015.  Two sets of keys and supplying dealer fobs and the original sales brochures are with the car.  Built to last and very well maintained by the fastidious and devoted owner, the correct recipe for this cars longevity.

Audi Quattro TT Sport

One of 800 special edition cars, an Audi Quattro TT Sport with just 49,505 miles.

EQUIPMENT

EXTERIOR
The only Audi TT model built by Audi AG high-performance specialist subsidiary Quattro GmbH in Germany, the Quattro TT Sport or TT Club Sport as it was known in Europe was built in very limited numbers.  Just 800 UK cars were produced, less than the 1000 cars originally intended, and this example finished in original Phantom Black (code LZ9Y) is simply exceptional.  The low mileage and enthusiast owner credentials are obvious and even the strictest perfection seeker will struggle to fault the finish.  Correct black exhaust tips and wider arch spats are unique for the TT Sport.  An outstanding example of this much revered and coveted TT Coupe.

INTERIOR
Having covered such few miles, the interior of this Audi TT remains in remarkable condition.  The original Recaro Bucket seats with Phantom Black seat backs intended for the TT Sport remain fitted and are alternative to the less desirable standard sport seats that were available as a no cost option chosen by some buyers on comfort grounds.  The black alcantara/leather seats coverings (code TW) are in fantastic order.  All trims pieces, controls and functions are virtually as new with only minor bobbling to the alcantara covering on the steering wheel.  Obvious weight saving measures to contribute towards to overall weight loss of 75kg is achieved by a stability bar and luggage net in place of the rear seat, and removal of the spare wheel and heated seats.  The discreet and unique Quattro Sport badge above the glove box acts as a subtle hint towards this very special TT’s capabilities.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The increased power from the 1.8 turbocharged engine rising to 240bhp is the result of a different mapping profile and offers an explosive 0-60mph time of 5.7 seconds and limited top speed of 155mph.  Further weight saving and weight distribution measures were achieved by the removal of the rear counterweight and relocation of the battery to the rear of the vehicle.  The engine compartment is unmolested, spotless and has all stickers and plates clearly visible.  The Quattro permanent four-wheel drive system mated to a precise 6-speed gearbox offers phenomenal stability and driver enjoyment.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Unique to the Quattro Sport and in perfect order, the original 8J x 18 front and 8.5J x 18 rear alloys wheels remain fitted and are shod in the correct 235/40 R18 Goodyear Eagle tyres with masses of tread.  The braking system offers assured and safe braking power with the callipers painted red as another distinguishing feature of the Quattro Sport.  Without question the most desirable production TT driving experience and this example is truly exceptional.

HISTORY FILE
Supplied new on 31st May 2005 by Lancaster Audi, this incredible example has covered just 49,505 miles from new with just three enthusiast keepers.  The immaculately presented history file documents full main dealer service history with a fully stamped service booklet containing nine stamped entries and supporting invoices.  There are two documented cambelt and water pump changes, the most recent being in 2015 at 45,386 miles.  The Haldex coupling oil and filter change is documented at Portadown Audi in 2014 at 42,575 miles.

All handbooks are contained within the smart black A5 wallet including Audi staff business cards and point of sale literature.  Two sets of keys with number tags still attached complete the history file.  Exemplary in every respect, this cossetted Audi TT Quattro Sport has wanted from nothing and will certainly impress the discerning enthusiast seeking the best.
