Specified in Carris Red Pearl Custom, the factory original paint finish is simply exceptional owing to fastidious professional detailing throughout the car’s lifetime and the remarkably low 23,242 miles covered. With the purposeful subtle styling, many could be forgiven for being unaware of this machine’s supercar capabilities but the muscular blistered arches and discreet RS6 badging are hints as to what this car can accomplish. INTERIOR
Few supercars are able to offer such levels of space and refinement, and a family supercar is exactly what this RS6 Avant Plus is! Chosen from the Audi Exclusive Package was this bespoke interior in RS6 embossed Black and Cream Valcona Leather with twin needle stitching detailing, (Code NSM/QH). Additional matching Valcona Leather trim pieces in both cream and black contrast brilliantly with the charcoal fabric headlining and Atlas Carbon Design fascia trim. Naturally, there is a full compliment of comfort and convenience equipment all of which is perfect in operation and the driver interface allows pre-launch selection of settings and controls, perfectly tailored for the driver’s mood and preference on every journey. The interior condition is pristine, even down to the original RS6 floor mats costing £500 to replace being protected with a second set of Audi carpet mats and a tailored boot floor protector, all citing fastidious ownership. The first aid kit remains untouched in the rear centre armrest and all factory stickers remain in the door apertures and the factory label in the boot floor. Ergonomic perfection.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Widely credited with damaging the ego of supercar driver’s ever since it was launched, launch being the operative word, this RS6 Plus Edition was introduced at the end of the C6 short production run of two years. The 5.0 litre FSI V10 engine, as also fitted to the Lamborghini Gallardo, features twin-turbos to produce an eye watering power output of 572bhp and 479lb ft of Torque. The electronic speed limiter of 155mph fitted to standard RS6 cars was factory deleted for this Plus Edition raising the top speed to an insane 188mph whilst dispatching 0-62mph in just 4.6 seconds. MRC Tuning Ltd, achieving Audi Tuner Gold Award for 12 consecutive years by The Audi Driver, gave the car a major service in 2020 at 21,798 miles and have also carried out a MRC Multimap and MRC Stage2 Tiptronic Map with the fitting of MRC downpipes, Milltek Catback and BMC Filters. The switchable remap with Map 110 octane boost increases power to a dyno recorded 805bhp and max clutch torque of 1103Nm. The engine bay with Atlas Carbon Design styling is spotless and all stickers, under bonnet labels and even PDI dabs are in place. Transmission is a six-speed Tiptronic automatic gearbox with paddle shift, and a torque split for the quattro four-wheel-drive system that in normal driving favours the rear wheels to the tune of 40:60. Fully serviced by knowledgeable experts and ready to launch.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The original 9.5J x 20 five segment-spoke alloy wheels in bright silver finish are in immaculate order, as are the stylish four-ring Audi centre caps. Matching premium Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S 275/35 R20 tyres were fitted brand new in October 2020 at a cost of £766 + fitting and have covered less than 1,000 miles. Peer through the huge wheel spoke apertures to see the formidable braking system featuring absurdly huge 390mm drilled front discs with six pot callipers. All calipers are painted in the original gloss black and feature the RS6 logo inscription. This really is a tremendous machine.
