Factory options; BOSE speaker system.

EXTERIOR
The only Audi TT model built by Audi AG high-performance specialist subsidiary Quattro GmbH in Germany, the Quattro TT Sport or TT Club Sport as it was known in Europe was built in very limited numbers. Just 800 UK cars were produced, less than the 1000 cars originally intended, and this example is finished in Avus Silver Pearl effect, (Code LY7J), with contrasting Phantom Black (Code LZ9Y). The paintwork looks superb and this completely standard example remains just as Audi intended. Expected of the vehicles age and mileage are some stone chips to the front bumper but this cars overall condition is one of being cherished. Correct black exhaust tips, larger rear spoiler and wider arch spats are unique for the TT Sport and all other trim sections are intact. Audi main dealer number plates are fitted and the front screen is the original still with the airbag warning sticker attached. An outstanding example of this much revered and coveted TT Coupe.

INTERIOR
The interior of this Audi TT remains in remarkable good condition. The Recaro Bucket seats with Phantom Black seat backs exclusive for the TT Sport remain fitted and are alternative to the less desirable standard sport seats that were available as a no cost option chosen by some buyers on comfort grounds. The black alcantara/leather seats coverings, (Code TT), are in very good order with only slight bobbling to the alcantara base panels and some light wear to the steering wheel. All trim pieces, controls and functions operate perfectly including the ice-cold air conditioning. Genuine Audi carpet mats remain fitted and manufacturer stickers are still attached in the door shuts. Obvious weight saving measures to contribute towards to overall weight loss of 75kg is achieved by a stability bar and luggage net in place of the rear seat, and removal of the spare wheel and heated seats. The discreet and unique Quattro Sport badge above the glove box acts as a subtle hint towards this very special TT’s capabilities.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The increased power from the 1.8 turbocharged engine rising to 240bhp is the result of a different mapping profile and offers an exhilarating 0-60mph time of 5.7 seconds and limited top speed of 155mph. Further weight saving and weight distribution measures were achieved by the removal of the rear counterweight and relocation of the battery to the rear of the vehicle. The engine compartment is unmolested, very clean and has all stickers and plates clearly visible. The Quattro permanent four-wheel drive system mated to a precise 6-speed gearbox offers phenomenal stability and driver enjoyment.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Unique to the Quattro Sport and in superb order, the original 8J x 18 front and 8.5J x 18 rear alloys wheels remain fitted and are shod in matching premium Pirelli PZero Nero GT tyres of size 225/40 R18 with plenty of tread. The braking system offers assured and safe braking power with the callipers painted red as another distinguishing feature of the Quattro Sport. New pads and discs have been fitted all-round in April 2020. Without question the most desirable production TT driving experience.

HISTORY FILE
Supplied new on 23rd January 2006 by Yeovil Audi, this standard example has covered 88,881 miles from new and boasts full and documented Audi main dealer service history. As a testament to the conscientious upkeep additional servicing over and above the required level has been carried out! The history file features a fully stamped service booklet containing 11 stamped entries with a separate large history folder with many supporting Audi invoices. The most recent documented cambelt and water pump change along with a major service at Straford Audi was in 2017 at 73,883 miles. The Haldex coupling oil and filter changes are routinely recorded in both the service book and invoices, the most recent of which is documented at Stratford Audi in March 2020 at 88,785 miles along with a LongLife service. All handbooks are contained within the smart black A5 wallet with dealership point of sale literature. Two sets of keys with number tags and dealer leather key fobs still attached and a Quattro TT Sport sales brochure complete the history file.

Just four owners in total have cherished this car, the first being the supplying dealer and since 2015 the previous keeper was a wealthy collector with a ‘car cave’ of supercars at his disposal. This useable example looks and performs to an exemplary level; owing to fastidious full main dealer servicing and upkeep. Experienced by a privileged few, this is a very special car.
