INTERIOR
The interior of this cossetted example is simply perfect. HISTORY FILE
Registered new on 4th October 1996 by Henlys Ford of Farnborough, this spectacular Special Edition Mondeo Verona has covered a warranted 27,486 miles from new with just two owners. The amazing history file begins with the new vehicle order form and subsequent sales invoice made out to first owner, Mr Page, whereby the purchase price was £12,793.93. All payment receipts and vehicle point of sale documents have been kept. Mr Page was a newly retired engineer, and as such, the Mondeo was a retirement gift from Mr and Mrs Page to themselves and a photograph outside their home with the car on handover day is a wonderful memento in the history file. A large file of service and maintenance invoices as well as all MOT certificates dating back to the first in 1999 is accompanied by a highly detailed maintenance log dating from when the car was new up to 2017. The log was kept as Mr Page, being a retired engineer, carried out much of the vehicle upkeep himself and wanted this to support the service history. The car was owned by Mr Page until September 2022 and there has been just one owner since. Mr Blake purchased the car for nostalgia reasons as his father owned Mondeo’s in the 1990’s and he and his father wanted to recreate journeys they took at the time. The fastidious upkeep has continued with the second owner who now has decided to sell the car with the upcoming birth of his first child and him feeling he will not have the time to give the car the care it deserves.

Absolutely all servicing is fully up to date and since April 2025 alone, the car has had cambelt and water pump, gearbox oil, brake fluid, power steering fluid, new exhaust, brake overhaul and engine service. Completing the history file is the full book packs, four Ford keys including the red master and dealer fobs, and an original Mondeo Verona range sales brochure. KGF Classic Cars are privileged to offer this exceptional example that is a true credit to its two owners from new.

This stunning original example presents incredibly well with a gloss shine to the bright red 10 litre fuel tank and vibrant factory decals to all undamaged plastic panels. The deeply padded dual light grey seat has no wear or rips with a clear white Yamaha logo and all light units are factory fitment. All dials and gauges function correctly and the switchgear looks like new along with the footrest and gearchange rubbers! The rear mudguard is uncut. It is hard to imagine a nicer existing example of this successful machine.

Powered by a liquid cooled 2 stroke motor, the DT breathes through a 28mm flat slide Mikuni carburettor which feeds the fuel/air mix straight into the crankcases to give instant throttle response. Advanced features such Yamaha Power Valve System, (YPVS) and Yamaha Energy Induction System, (YEIS), gives strong low and mid-range torque combined with a great top end powerband! Being a French European model, it benefits from being unrestricted. The 6-speed transmission is smooth and precise and helps keep the engine in the sweet spot.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The Takasago chrome wheels have a brilliant mirror shine with slight markings and are shod in premium Continental Escape measuring 2.75-21 upfront and 4.10-18 to the rear for great all-round performance. The DT125R features YZ style drilled discs at the front and rear to dissipate heat, measuring 230mm up front and 220mm to the rear and uses the same caliper and master cylinder as YZ motorcross racers to offer controllable stopping power.

The factory original flat Red dual seat is unmarked with the vibrant white Yamaha logo proudly on display, and the motocross leading axle front forks have perfect red rubber gaiters. The frame number is clearly legible and along with all other exposed metal areas such as the box-section swinging arm, wide braced handlebars, and high-level exhaust system with heat shield, shows signs of aging. This has been left entirely untreated to uphold absolute factory originality and does not detract from the ‘wow factor’ this bike generates when seen. Could this be the lowest mileage untouched Yamaha DT50MX in existence?

Power is delivered smoothly over the whole rev-range thanks to the reed valve Yamaha Torque Induction System. HISTORY FILE
This iconic learner legal trials bike was supplied by J.E Clarkson Motor Cycles Ltd in Carlisle to a Mr John Gamble and registered on the 3rd October 1990. Used for one month only before being placed in his shed. There is remained for 29 years before being discovered by a house clearance company in 2019. Sold to a serial bike collector who stipulated the bike must remain untouched and not even cleaned so that he could sympathetically return it to road worthy condition while keeping everything absolutely original. This aim has been achieved and the bike now looks and rides amazingly well and ready for any appreciative bike collector wanting the purest DT50MX experience.

Sinclair C5

FOR SALE
A revolutionary Sinclair C5 unused on display with boxed owner’s pack.

MODEL HISTORY
Launched on the 10th January 1985 this electric single seater was a completely new form of personal transport and a world first for Sir Clive Sinclair. Claims of 1000 miles for the price of a gallon of petrol, a range of up to 40 miles with an optional second battery and ability to be driven by anybody over 14 without a licence or road tax all for highly competitive £399 inc VAT, seamed enticing. A special launch show at Alexandra Pavilion on the weekend of the 12-13th January 1985 was poorly timed with cold wet British weather highlighting its limitations of a battery that ran down quickly, a maximum speed of only 15 miles per hour and lack of weather proofing. Combined with safety concerns of being dwarfed by vehicles on the road, poor reviews followed and within three months of the launch, production had been slashed by 90%. Sales never picked up despite Sinclair’s optimistic forecasts and production ceased by the end of 1985. Out of 14,000 C5s made, only 5,000 were sold before its manufacturer, Sinclair Vehicles, went into receivership.

Thousands of unsold C5s were purchased by investors and sold for hugely inflated prices, as much as £6,000. Enthusiasts have established owner’s clubs and newer batteries have now extended the range. No matter if you think of the C5 as a curious oddity and national flop or a serious alternative in personal transport, one thing is for sure, they are great fun and a cult classic!

EQUIPMENT
Aerodynamic injection moulded polypropylene body, specially coated steel backbone chassis designed by Lotus Cars, lamps, padded steering bar, all-round reflectors, key operated ignition switch, LED microprocessor display units, built-in boot, power activated push switch, powerful front and rear brakes, range and performance improving pedals. Boxed Owners Pack containing: Charger, battery fixing kit, tool kit.

EXTERIOR
Designed by Sinclair, styled by Guy Desbarats, (a graduate of the Royal College of Art), and developed and tested by Lotus Cars, the C5 could run at the speed of an Olympic sprinter, or so claimed the press release! The distinctive and smartly styled polypropylene body is in remarkable condition having never been ridden in 40 years! All plastic lamp lens covers are immaculate with the rear unit still having the quality assurance inspection sticker attached! The seating area is virtually unmarked with the serial number sticker still attached to the frame. The high-intensity reflective tape produced by 3M has come unstuck in small areas but a replacement OEM roll is included. The lockable white boot area, (only found on later models), is clean with the Hoover service information sticker still attached and the underside is beautifully preserved.

MOTOR & TRANSMISSION
The C5’s 250W 12v motor is one of the few non-British components, supplied by the Italian firm, Ploymotor, a subsidiary of Philips. Specifically designed and lightweight, the maximum power-assisted speed is 15 mph. The drive to the Torrington made tubular step-swaged rear axle is taken through an epicyclic reduction gearbox which incorporates glass reinforced nylon gears. Drive transfer is by a toothed belt to one wheel. This example has never been ridden and is being sold for display purposes only.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The wheels were specially designed for the Sinclair C5, moulded from glass-reinforced nylon. The front is 12.5-inch diameter and the rears 16-inch shod in correct Sinclair rubber tyres. Powerful front and rear brakes are operated by cycle type brake levers engineered to avoid locking of the front to ensure straight-line braking in all conditions.

HISTORY FILE
Such a controversial vehicle that it has now become a cult classic! This particular example was built in October 1985 at Hoover’s Merthyr Tydfil facility towards the end of C5 production. It was owned by the late Charles Snarski, a well-known expert in C5 circles and resided in his personal collection before being purchased by one further keeper in 2019. Only ever on display, it remains unused to this day still with its boxed and unopened C5 owners pack! Supplied with two keys and the key code tag along with wonderful period artifacts such as the Sinclair Vehicles Press Information bulletin, a copy of the January 1985 C5 driver Souvenir Edition magazine and the January 19th Motor Magazine where the C5 is road tested with the headline, ELECTRIC SHOCKER! A new power in personal transport and a true 1980’s icon, instantly recognisable and guaranteed to raise a smile whenever it is seen!

EXTERIOR
This deliciously retro XR3i Cabriolet represents an original and unspoilt example of Fords iconic soft-top. Finished in striking Diamond White, (Code BK3), the paintwork boasts a fabulous uniform finish that clearly shows just how much the car has been cherished. All body panels are factory fitment with clearly defined inner wings stamps and the bodywork and shut lines are beautifully straight. Light touched in marks are visible upon close inspection but are entirely forgiven on such an original example as are the slightly faded XR3i decals. The Ford RS bodykit was fitted from new with RS logos clearly visible and the underside is remarkably well preserved. The white soft-top roof is beautifully clean, remains perfect in condition, fit and operation. The matching colour keyed hood cover for use when the hood is lowered is present and spotless. Factory Sigla glass and Ford light clusters remain fitted. A very well cared for example ready to enjoy as Ford intended.

INTERIOR
A fun and practical option of retro soft-top motoring with space for five and a generous boot! The supportive sports seats trimmed with Zolda fabric in Shadow colour scheme, (Code LU), are in good condition with some very small holes to each front seat, barely noticeable. Door card shrinkage and scratched inner door handles are very common for the model, yet thankfully, there is only minor evidence on this example. The soft top headlining is very clean with no stains, rips or loose material and the heated rear glass screen free from scratches. The dashboard and switchgear are in superb order and all functions and controls operate including the standard Ford 2005 radio/cassette with electric aerial and the roof mounted digital clock. A clean and unspoilt interior.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
A delightfully crisp, responsive and free-revving 1.6 OHC (CVH) engine features electronic fuel injection with Ford’s own EEC IV engine management system (as fitted to later cars replacing the Bosch system). This increased power by 3bhp to give 108bhp to achieve an improved top speed of 116mph and 0-60mph in 9.7 seconds. The engine bay presentation is excellent with original factory stickers, labels and plates intact even on the slam panel! The car performs brilliantly and an expensive stainless steel exhaust replicating the original to give the characteristic rasp! The five-speed gearbox is light and precise and aids the enthusiastic driving XR owners are known for!

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Optional extra alloy wheels size 6 x 14in are in pristine condition and are shod in matching branded Goodyear Efficient Grip tyres covering little over 1,000 miles since being fitted in 2022. Stored inside the spare wheel is the original jack. The diagonally split dual-line servo assisted brakes stop the car straight and steady.

HISTORY FILE
Date of registration of this late 90 Spec example was the 4th July 1991 by Ford Main Dealer, Central Motor Company (Leicester) Ltd. Ownership of the car has been traced right back and the previous owner bought the car in 2016, the lady keeper prior to him having owned the car for around 20 years. The history file is humongous and dates back to when the car was new with masses of paperwork including MOT records dating back to the first in 1994. There are also service book records since the first service carried out in late 1991. Part of the impressive vehicle history is that the car was featured with the previous owner in the April 2018 issue of ClassicFord magazine whereby a prime example was required for a four-page ‘Buying Tips’ article. This very car was used in the feature and several copies of the magazine are in the folder. All handbooks are included as well as both seats of keys with alarm fobs and a Ford range brochure from 1990.

In November 2025, the car was serviced and the cambelt and water pump were replaced. Now offered for sale due to the fastidious owner downsizing his collection of classic 1980’s cars, motorbikes and iconic memorabilia such as an unused Sinclair C5! Look no further for a beautifully cherished unspoilt example ready to use and impress at classic car shows and retro outings!

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on 13th August 2007 by Ford Main Dealer, Ringways Motor Group in Doncaster, the car was purchased by a Miss Flavell who is the first and only owner. The car was purchased for use in retirement and as is common, the usage was regular albeit minimal, and it was kept in the garage when not in use. Only upon the owner’s passing in 2025 has the car become available and subsequently was offered to KGF Classic Cars. Recognising the first generation KA’s fast diminishing on our roads and the scarce availability of pristine low mileage cars, we are delighted to present this car ready for its second appreciate owner. A service, full inspection and MOT have been carried out in November 2025 and all maintenance is up to date. Both keys and handbook pack are present along with a paperwork file and original sales brochure for the 2007 model year Ka. In addition, a Ford Main Dealer service and maintenance log allows you to track the verified mileage before Miss Flavell’s local garage, Woodman Service Station Limited (that was incorporated in 1965 and now closed in 2024), maintained the car.

Debate over the pronunciation of the name Ka has continued since launch and whether it is to be said with a long or short “a”, or with the letters pronounced separately. Even Ford’s confused press office has used all three, but the official Ford stance is with a short “a”! Whichever way you may wish to say it, the first examples are now approaching 30 years old and the humble Ford Ka represents a superb value entry into classic car ownership, even more so with this incredible one-owner example with just 9,854 miles from new! Be quick before everyone catches on!

In 2022, the car gained a new owner when the family home was sold with the car in situ inside the garage where it had always been stored. Thankfully the new owner, Mr Free, is a car enthusiast who fully appreciated the cars rarity, condition and remarkably low mileage. It was abundantly clear the Medwid family had cherished their Honda with full Honda main dealer service history throughout their entire ownership up to 2022. The car has remained for the last three years at the same home with Mr Free who has enjoyed the car and attended classic cars shows. Servicing and maintenance have been kept up with a major service and cambelt change in July 2025 with supporting invoice for £760.09.

The colossal history file reveals just how well this car has been cared for with 27 evidenced services, 24 of which were the supplying Honda dealership! The Medwid family even had the car on a Honda service plan with the supplying dealer up to 2022 and there has been three further services since. A neatly organized folder has every service invoice and checklist as well as MOT records. The family even kept every single tax disc from the first in 1994! Completing the phenomenal history is the full Honda book pack with stamped service book, both sets of keys with Hepworth Honda leather fobs and an original sales brochure. Furthermore, the Hepworth Honda paper floor mats from new car handover have been kept along with the Hepworth Honda branded handover pack! Immensely reliable, retro, rare, cherished and ever so wonderfully Honda!

HISTORY FILE
A fascinating tale. Discovered by Jonny Smith aka CarPervert and as seen here on his YouTube Channel, The Late Brake Show [Click Here], in a garage with just 2,272 miles in February 2025. At this point the time warp car was owned solely by an elderly gentleman who purchased the car on the 10th June 2002 from Colborne Garages in Woking. Returning to them seven times for service work and up to May 2009 at 2,148 miles when he retired from driving. For sale through probate, Jonny Smith had to purchase the car to make the film and the money he paid for it has donated towards the Woking & Sam Beare Hospice and Wellbeing Care Centre. To then celebrate 220,000 views, nearly 700k subs and 400 videos since the channel began 5 years ago, Jonny decided to give back to his loyal @thelatebrakeshow viewers and let someone deserving win an almost delivery mileage modern VW classic. With assistance from Volkswagen UK and Group One Volkswagen in Peterborough, the car was fully recommissioned and made road worthy again before being given away. The winner subsequently part exchanged the car with a trader for another vehicle and KGF Classic Cars were contacted directly by the trader with an opportunity to buy it. Thrilled to have agreed a purchase and now elevated and prepared to a show standard ready for an appreciative enthusiast.

Supplied with all handbooks, stamped service book, a letter from The Late Brake Show, and a VW printout with all service visits. On a successful sale KGF Classic Cars will also make a donation to the same Hospice as made by Jonny Smith and The Late Brake Show.

This ultimate collector quality Fiesta boasts wonderful credentials of just one owner and 8,134 miles from new! Finished in Diamond White, (Code B 3), the paintwork gleams and all body panels are factory fitment. Close inspection of this unicorn of Fiesta’s will reveal the bodywork in amazing condition and an original underside in perfect structural condition. The panels are pin straight with linear gaps and crisp seams preserved. Close scrutiny reveals nothing other than a handful of carefully touched in markings. Trim sections, original lenses and factory glass are preserved throughout, the latter having registration etching to all panes. The chrome bumpers with black insert are pristine and the supplying dealer steel number plates and front and rear screen stickers remain fitted. The rear screen sticker is faded. As we fast approach the 50th anniversary of the Ford Fiesta, what better way of celebrating this milestone with this very special one owner example with miniscule mileage?

INTERIOR
The original L specification Houndstooth Fabric Trim in Black and Red, (Code H 1), remains preserved in breath taking original condition. The fabric and structure to the seats is perfect and thanks to garage storage from new, there is no sunlight fading whatsoever. The door cards, carpets and headlining are immaculate. Such is the untouched nature of this car that even factory stickers remain on the seat belt buckles! The wonderfully sparse fascia is fully intact in showroom order, and all equipment and functions, albeit minimal, operate perfectly. The very critical eye will note nothing other than a few faint scratches to the top of the inner doors and one rear side trim where the vinyl has shrunk slightly. The spotless luggage space has the original Ford jack and brace as well as factory foam insulation and PDI build sticker intact. Totally unspoilt, it is difficult to imagine this interior being surpassed.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This delightful Fiesta 1.1 L is powered by the 1117cc four-cylinder OHV unit developing a hair-raising 53bhp! The instantly recognisable engine hum is hugely nostalgic and the car performs brilliantly. The engine bay is a concours judges dream in a condition that almost defies believe. The engine, gearbox and all ancillaries have been meticulously cleaned and detailed to a phenomenal level. The car has undergone major recommissioning after being off the road for many years and where possible under safety constraints, original and genuine Motorcraft service items are used and retained including plug leads, filters and other consumables. Fragile stickers and labels to original components such as the coil and brake servo, long lost on most cars, have remained intact and bright. Brackets, clips and fittings retain the factory anodised coating. Panels stampings to inner wings as well and VIN and body plates are preserved. The four-speed gearbox operates well and this spirited little Fiesta with all its low mileage tightness is an absolute hoot to drive!

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The factory steel wheels of size 4 x 12 are in perfect order with all black centre caps intact. Brand new and very expensive premium classic style Michelin MX-145 R12 are fitted to all four road wheels and the spare wheel still wears the factory original virgin Michelin XZX tyre. Servo-assisted, which was standard on the 1100 engine, the diagonally split brakes with discs up front and self-adjusting drums at the rear operate correctly having been subject to full overhaul in October 2025.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on the 21st April 1980 by Ford Main Dealer, Gilbert Rice Ltd in Horsham, the first and only owner was a Miss Histed. Purchased later in life as her first car, Miss Histed decided she wanted to start driving, and with a mild disability requiring her to have a modified clutch pedal she passed her test. The car was always garaged and used sparingly as Miss Histed felt that she was never overly fond of being a motorist, despite the freedom it offered. In the 1980’s she decided she no longer wished to drive but did not want to part with the car just in case and so it remained, in the garage. In 1996 she initially made the decision to sell the car and took it for MOT which it passed. However, she changed her mind and decided not to sell the car. The exact same scenario happened in 2007 where again the car passed the MOT but she once more decided she could not part with it, despite her Nephew now being involved and writing to the Fiesta Club GB asking for advice on what to do with the car! This letter and the reply from the Club Chairman are in the history folder. In 2025, KGF Classic Cars were contacted by said Nephew who told us about the car and that it was now definitely for sale. Intrigued by the one owner, low mileage credentials and indeed the ownership story, we made the journey to inspect the car in its garage and upon first sight we could not believe our eyes. Even covered in dust after many years of storage, it was immediately clear just how preserved and untouched the car had been. The car came back to headquarters where it has been a real labour of love undertaking the recommissioning. Meticulous attention to detail has been observed with full recommissioning to the engine, braking, ignition and fuel systems. Care has been taken to retain as many original and genuine Ford parts as possible within the constraints of safety. The car now drives just as you would expect of the mere 8,134 miles and the experience is likened to that of driving a Mk1 Fiesta within it’s first year on the road!

The handbook contains service stamps in the early 1980’s from the supplying dealership, and the spare keys with supplying dealer leather key fob and all handbooks are present. A large folder holds receipts for the recommissioning work and there is even an original Ford range brochure from 1980! Only physical inspection and test drive of this incredible example allows you to appreciate just how special this pinnacle survivor is.
