Supplied new on 1st March 2007 by Ford Main Dealer, Cliff Dickenson & Son in Winsford, this Focus was purchased new by Mr Cornes and the new vehicle sales invoice confirms the purchase price of £15,790. The car has remained in the ownership of Mr and Mrs Cornes since new with transfer of ownership to his wife in 2017 upon his passing. Used in retirement years and a second car to Mr Cornes’ one owner 1989 Volkswagen Passat, the mileage of 8,210 is fully verified by a huge history file. Despite the exceptionally low miles, the car has always been on the road and there are ten evidenced services. Factory build records confirm that this Ford Capri 2.0S was built in June 1983 at the Ford factory in Saarlouis, Germany. Registered new on 12th August 1983 by Ford Main Dealer, Spruce Howlett & Co Ltd in Norwich, this example has covered just 13,441 miles from new. Sold in 2023 by KGF Classic Cars to Mr Upton who had owned a Capri many years ago and wanted to relive the Capri experience. The car has now been offered back to us following Mr and Mrs Upton’s retirement and upcoming travel plans meaning the car is being used less. A full service using Ford Motorcraft oil filter and cambelt change was carried out in September 2025.

The handbooks, guides, dealership literature and original stamped service booklet are present and a collection of previous MOT certificates and invoices dating back to the 1990’s. HISTORY FILE
Supplied new on 1st March 2001 by Main Dealer, Allen Ford in Romford, the first and only registered owner is a Mr Young. In stark contrast to most examples that were put into daily use in all weathers, this example was destined for a more cossetted existence. The car has always been garaged, clearly evident in the condition of both the body and astonishing underside, and it is believed that due to the owner’s ill health the car was subject to very minimal use. Early service records as well as online MOT history track the mileage. The original service book has six stamped entries, the first five of which are the supplying dealership, Allen Ford, and cover the period up to 2007 when the car was taken off the road. In August 2025, the car caught the attention of KGF Classic Cars by a feature from a prominent online content creator covering a Mk1 Ford Focus with miniscule mileage and one owner coming up for sale. Intrigue got the better of us and we found ourselves at a classic car auction where we inpected the the car prior to bidding. Being absolutely blown away by the condition and originality, we decided to deviate from our general rule of buying classic cars direct from owner, enthusiasts and collectors and just had to bid. Having won the auction, the car arrived at KGF Classic Cars headquarters where ramp inspection left the team even more speechless at the exceptional preserved condition. Not wanting the car to just be an ornament, a full inspection, brake overhaul, major service and cambelt change has taken place using genuine Ford parts. The original factory fitted Michelin tyres were replaced due cracking with premium Uniroyal tyres. A set of brand-new floor mats ordered directly from Ford are a nice finishing touch replacing the non-original rubber items. The car is now fully roadworthy and ready to showcase what is probably the finest non-RS Mk1 you are ever likely to see. The modern classic car world has long seen the Mk1 Focus RS as highly collectable, and now the car community and indeed many online creators are beginning to revel in the collectability of the everyday variant. Utilising the same competition-developed Type 49 heavy duty, 2-door body as the Escort Mexico and RS1600, the panel fit is perfect. INTERIOR
Body hugging, reclining and luxurious RS seats still trimmed in their original Beta Black fabric, (Code A1), and are immaculate in appearance with a tiny mark to the drivers seat base. Both are fitted with optional and desirable headrests. All of the interior is spotless and fully equipped with an undamaged padded dash. The perforated black headlining and door cards have no rips with attention to detail seen throughout. The sports instrumentation is bright and clear including the correct 130mph and 7000rpm speedometer and tachometer and all switches and controls function. Set up and dyno tested by HT Racing Ltd, the 100bhp is confirmed to allow a claimed top speed of 110mph and 0-60mph in 9 seconds. The immaculate engine bay is detailed to a high standard for those wishing to exhibit the car with the bonnet up. The original VIN plate and AVO build plate are a welcome sight and prove the cars specification when built at Aveley and the chassis stamp can be seen on the inner wing. Rallye Sport Escorts including the Mexico, RS1600 and RS2000 were built at Fords Advanced Vehicle Operations factory in Aveley at a rate of just thirty a day. This AVO Club registered example rolled off the production line in March 1974 and was supplied by Haynes Bros.Ltd of Maidstone, one of 73 specially appointed Rallye Sport Dealers. Registered new to a Dr R Edney incredibly this example has only had four former keepers from new. Dr Edney paid extra to have Cryla-Gard rustproofing and the guarantee certificate is still in the history file! The comprehensive history file confirms two further owners worked at Ford RS Dealers, Invicta Motors Ltd of Faversham and Swale Motor Company of Sittingbourne, so the car wanted for nothing being maintained exclusively by Ford until 1986. At this time it was sold by Mike Young Garage in Ilford Essex to the fourth owner, Mr Picknell, who paid extra for the Ultimate Motorplan breakdown and mechanical Insurance and the car had covered 70,952 miles at this point. Registered new on 24th August 1988, this fabulous example was supplied new by Ford Main Dealers, Trimoco Cars Leeds, to Mr Matt Kyle. The new car purchase invoice is made out to Mr Kyle who paid £11,948.17 including an optional dealer fitted Ford basic alarm and received part exchange allowance for his 1984 XR3i. The car remained with its original owner for over 26 years until December 2014 when Mr Manning purchased the car from him. EXTERIOR
After 47 years and the final Ford Fiesta rolling off the production line in July 2023, the humble Fiesta is adored and revered by many and as always, it is the hot hatch sporty variants that collectors seek. Few more so than the rarest of all these, this ST150 Mountune Racing MR200 finished in virtually unmarked metallic Performance Blue, (Code G4). A few light stone chips to the bonnet are entirely forgiven on the straight, damage free panels still wearing manufacturer paintwork. The racy ‘Aero’ body-styling kit and chunky sports trim sections are all standard ST150 fitment and only the correct slanted Mountune badges and MR200 decals reveal the true nature of this prized car. The factory fitted glass has some delamination and dealer supplied number plates are fitted. The underside and wheel apertures are super clean and original, the car having always been garaged. It is clear to see that this rare example has been pampered rather than tracked.

INTERIOR
Inside this sporting hot Ford are a pair of body-hugging ST-branded sports front seats finished in Ebony leather and Performance Blue Wire, (Code EW). The entire cabin space, seats and trims can only be described as first class. Bright red ST emblems to the seats, steering wheel and sill scuff plates help distinguish this model. The fanatical owner purchased Mountune Lux carpet set to include the boot mat and the Mountune air freshener remains unopened still in its clear packaging! An expensive upgraded sound system with a removable quick release JL subwoofer to the boot completes the package.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Fitted with the Ford 2.0 litre Duratec engine with the desirable and very expensive MR200 conversion, the power output is quoted as 200bhp at 7000rpm. Expect the factory standard ST150 statistics of 129mph and 0-60 in 7.9 seconds to be obliterated! The engine bay is spotless and not only displays all the factory stickers, panels stamps and clear chassis number stamping, but Mountune upgrades also. Unique ST design 17” alloy wheels show no curb damage and all Ford badged centre caps are as new. Matching Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres of size 205/40 ZR17 are fitted with masses of even tread showing. Anti-lock brakes (ABS) with upgraded EBC grooved and drilled discs to all four wheels are gripped by powerful calipers finished in Ford Performance Racing Red.

HISTORY FILE
Supplied new by Dagenham Motors Ltd on the 7th January 2005 this example is fitted with the Mountune MR200 conversion at great expense and is one of just 74 made! Importantly official Mountune Certificates are included in the massive history file to validate the authenticity of the upgrade. Owned by just four former keepers, the last Mr Kelly for eight years who is a renown expert in the Fiesta ST community. A neatly and chronically filed A4 folder details the comprehensive service history with the last stamped entry in June 2025 at 69,833 miles using only genuine Ford parts. The original bodyside twin pinstripe is unmarked and the standard bright metal roof rack still displays the Ford weight 75kg limit sticker. All Sekurit bronze tinted glass is unmarked and has number plate etching and all period accessories fitted from new such as the chrome driving lamps remain operational. Knutsford Ford supplying dealer number plates and rear screen sticker remain fitted and the Ghia badges sit proudly on both front wings All bright metal work is gleaming and there is a small mark to the off side front wing and two dings to a window trim, all insignificant. The wheel arch apertures and underside present like an untouched car having only covered 17,802 miles. A truly exemplary and unique example.

INTERIOR
The interior of this flagship Granada Ghia X is outstanding. The twin reclining heated and electric front seats are trimmed in unmarked Navy crushed velour and Chatsworth luxury material which extends to the door cards, (Code F6). The woodgrain effect to the dash and upper door sections has a rich colour with no sun damage, thanks to perfect indoor storage from new. Incredibly the cloth headlining is pristine and the four spoke soft feel steering wheel still displays all the natural veins. All controls, switches, gauges and warning lights are operational, (including those in the roof panel), and the desirable Monroe Ride-Leveler controls ride height with a working gauge. The cavernous boot area is spotless with no cargo damage and lifting the boot floor reveals the rubber mat and even the Bollig & Kemper colour code sticker and Ford jack retained by the rubber straps. The retractable roller boot cover is present and fully working. This car really is a beautiful, unspoilt place to be and exactly how Ford intended.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This carburettor equipped 2.8 Ghia X model has the wonderfully smooth V6 Cologne engine offering performance, reliability and ease of maintenance. Quiet and effortless producing 135bhp at 5200rpm, this is a true Ford treasure that will hit 0-60mph in 11.7 secs and a top speed of 104mph. Lifting the bonnet will reveal absolute untouched splendour will all stickers, plates and labels factory original. The standard automatic transmission with oil cooling is wonderful.

HISTORY FILE
This formidable and unrepeatable Ford Granada 2.8 Ghia X Estate was supplied new by Ford main dealer, Knutsford Motors Ltd in Northwich on the 1st April 1983. The original service book is stamped seven times by the supplying dealer and a fastidious owner, Mr Les Williams, kept a detailed log of annual mileage with every supporting MOT certificate. In the last seven years of his ownership and until 2004 his annual mileage dropped to below 100 and at the age of 76, he decided to sell the car. Preserved wonderfully, it has subsequently been housed within some of the finest Ford collections, the latest being within the Moulsdale Foundation, Scotland’s largest Classic and Performance Car and Motorbike Museum. All handbooks, including the rare Trip Computer manual, sales brochure and spare keys are present. This very late Ford Sierra Sapphire on a K prefix has covered just 24,851 miles from new and has been father and son owned since 1995! Finished in factory original Radiant Red, (Code P 9), the paintwork presents in stunning condition throughout. There is a deep uniform shine to the factory fitted panels which are pin straight with perfect shut lines. Close scrutiny reveals nothing other than very carefully touched in chips and scratches which certainly do not detract from the astonishing presentation. Originality seekers will be pleased to see security etchings both to the factory glass and genuine Ford light fitments and Carello headlamps. The supplying dealer number plates and rear screen sticker remain fitted. The underside is factory original and very clean with no weld repairs or heavy underseal. Totally unspoilt unlike many a Sapphire that fell fate to becoming a Cosworth replica, this is a very rare find in such lovely condition.

INTERIOR
The Astral fabric trim in Grey colour scheme, (Code L Q), is spotlessly clean and in excellent order with firm bolsters and bases. The matching door cards have no shrinkage or damage. The colour-keyed velour carpet is clean and free from wear and the neutral tone headlining is excellent. The fully intact dashboard, of the smoother style and as fitted to only the very latest Sierra’s, has no cracks or distortion and is fitted with a security LED. All switchgear is functional, and the original Ford radio/cassette (Model 2006) remains fitted and operational. The spotless boot area has immaculate carpeting, an undamaged circular ply-board wheel cover and factory build stickers are intact. A very rare modern classic Ford remaining exactly as intended.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The 1.8 CFi engine develops 86bhp at 5250rpm and 145Nm of torque at 3000rpm, achieving a top speed of 106mph and 0-60mph in 11.7 seconds. Remaining in standard specification, the engine bay is fabulously clean and displays factory plates, stickers and original inner wings with Ford emblems clearly visible. The engine is beautifully quiet and smooth and the five-speed gearbox is sturdy and effortless. The perfect retro drive!

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The original 14” X 5½” steel wheels wear correct and pristine LX wheel trims and are shod in brand new matching premium brand Uniroyal 185/65 R14 tyres. The spare wheel has the original Michelin MX-L tyre still fitted! The dual line servo assisted G-Valve brakes with ventilated front discs and rear drums bring the car up to a steady, straight and assured halt.

HISTORY FILE
Supplied new by Ford Main Dealer, G K Group Ltd, on the 3rd February 1993, the car was registered as a demonstrator before being sold after three months to the first private owner, Mr Dahler. In 1995, the car was purchased by the second private owner, Mr Hutchins, and ownership has been with him and his son ever since. In 2008 the car was passed to his son and at this point was taken off the road and dry stored. Prior to being taken off the road, the car has full service history with a fully stamped service book and masses corresponding invoices all neatly filed. Having acquired the car in April 2025, full recommissioning has taken place including major service, cambelt and water pump, full brake overhaul, brand new premium tyres and full overhaul of cooling system including re-core of the original radiator.

EXTERIOR
This incredible very early Mk4 XR3i has been preserved in stunning original condition and is a true delight for any Blue Oval connoisseur. Finished in the factory Rosso Red, (Code R5), a colour used only for a handful of early Mk4’s prior to the release of Radiant Red, this example certainly represents a rare survivor. The finish to the paintwork is superb with a deep glossy uniform shine throughout and no evidence of common fading or loss of red pigment. Various small imperfections can be seen which include a small ding on the bonnet and paint blemishes. The vehicle has always been garaged and boot spoiler has been colour coded. The underside is incredibly clean and original and free from underbody seal with no weld repairs. Still fitted with the supplying Ford Dealer number plates this retro hot hatch remains true to the 1980’s manufacturer design!

INTERIOR
Having covered such low mileage, the Daytona patterned seat fabric, (Code SF), is unworn and the snug sculptured structure remains. Ford aficionados will marvel in the factory fresh ambience of this interior which still retains a characteristic and distinctive Ford aroma! The colour-keyed cut pile carpet is unmarked and the unique Cool Black XR3i headlining is clean and tight with no tears. The moulded door trim panels including the soft-feel armrests and stowage bins are in excellent order but the material on the armrest has lifted slightly. The door pulls prone to usage related markings are almost wear free. The small two spoke sports steering wheel is commensurate with the low miles covered with all manufacturer veins still prominent. All interior gauges operate correctly along with the original Ford ESRT 32PS radio/cassette with ‘joystick’ speaker balance control. Often misused, the phrase ‘time warp’ feels truly appropriate.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Standard in every respect and a purists dream, this 1.6 litre engine with Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection. The engine bay is spotlessly clean with manufacturer stickers and plates visible along with clear stampings to the inner wings. A crisp, responsive 104bhp offers hugely entertaining driving manners and swift performance. A top speed of 115mph and 0-60mph in 9.6 seconds feels spirited thanks to a kerb weight of just 945kg. The 5-speed transmission is light, precise and a joy to use.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The optional alloy wheels with Ford emblem are unmarked and shod is Firestone 185/60 R14 tyres all with excellent tread remaining and the spare wheel retains the original Dunlop Sport D3. The diagonally-split dual-line servo assisted brakes with front discs and self-adjusting rear drums stop the car quickly and safely.

HISTORY FILE
Supplied new by Ford Main Dealers, Crystal Ford of Hull Ltd on the 12th August 1986, this example had two keepers within its first year of life. The third keeper, Mr John Hallam a retired Professor, purchased the car in October 1987 and remained the owner until 2015. Mr Hallam enjoyed the car as his pride and joy for five years before stopping driving for health reasons. Garage stored for 23 years until KGF Classic Cars discovered it nearly a decade ago and were delighted to offer it to market whereby it was promptly snapped up. Honoured to have been offered it again the car has recently had a major service and cambelt change in November 2024. Subsequently sold again in late 2024 to a long-standing collector client who has now acquired from us a Ford Fiesta RS Turbo and reluctant sale of this XR3i necessitated by a strict one in one out policy.

The original service booklet contains annual stamped entries for the cars early years prior to storage as well as the most recent entries commencing in 2015 with the last in 2024. A Crystal dealer sticker was applied to the front cover of the service book and remains attached. The vehicle handbook and radio guide also form part of the history file all contained withing the blue A5 Ford wallet. Two original keys to operate all locks and a sales brochure are included.
