Only 3,511 examples were built for the UK market and this example is known to the official Mini 25 Register, (Source – www.mini25.com). Finished in the only available colour of Silver Leaf clearcoat metallic, (Code MME), the paintwork boasts a lovely bright shine and uniform finish. All panels are superbly straight and undamaged and some remedial cosmetic refinishing has understandably been carried out to a professional standard. Meticulously correct, the standard Mini 25 trim pieces and decals are perfect having been painstakingly sourced as original hard to find stock items. All factory tinted glass is security etched with the registration number. Clearly a cherished example of this limited edition classic Mini.

The unique interior of this outstanding Mini 25 is in fabulous condition. The Flint velvet knitted fabric seats and trim, (Code LCG), display correct ‘25’ motifs as well as the quirky seat-front zip pockets. All upholstery including the matching door cars and carpeting is beautifully clean with only one small nick to the driver’s seat back lower edge. The three spoke steering wheel with ‘25’ central motif has been perfectly retrimmed in the correct leather finish. The original Austin badged push button radio remains fitted but has been superseded by a hidden modern DAB unit which is within a professionally fitted upgrade walnut dashboard incorporating additional oil pressure gauge, ammeter and clock. The boot area has also been professionally boarded out with felt covered panels. A subtly improved interior with none of the original Mini 25 charm lost.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on 6th August 1984, this wonderful Mini was is one of just 3,511 Mini 25 Silver Jubilee commemorative edition cars supplied to the UK market. The history file is simply colossal and leaves in no doubt that this car has been truly cherished. Thorough perusal of the massive file of paperwork would take hours and includes MOT certificates dating back to the very first in 1987! The previous keeper, Mr Paul Gilbert, was fanatical in his approach to making this car not only visually superb but mechanically too with thousands spent as he thoroughly enjoyed using the car. The special Mini 25 handbook and sales brochure remain in the file and there are two sets of keys with remote alarm fobs.
Having seen our delightful Mk3 Ford Escort Ghia for sale, Mr Gilbert decided to visit us in his Mini 25 and a deal was stuck! KGF Classic Cars are proud to present this cherished and rare Mini 25 wanting for nothing other than the next appreciative owner. A truly jubilant classic Mini!
