The bodywork is pin straight and meticulous scrutiny will reveal nothing other than miniscule markings and a tiny touched in mark to the front bumper. All trim, chrome and special edition Sidewalk livery is immaculate. The fully electric two stage hood with heated glass rear screen is as new. INTERIOR
The beautifully trimmed and high specification interior of this Special Edition is simply gorgeous and is in exceptional condition. The bold Malt Brown leather interior with contrasting silver piping and prominent stitching is in beautiful condition with no undue wear and firm seat bolsters. Matching door trim and bi-colour steering wheel are as new and the uber-stylish Chrome-line interior with gunmetal facings are perfect, as are the carpets, Special Edition floor mats and Sidewalk tread plates and seat tags. All functions and toggle switch controls operate perfectly including the ice-cold air conditioning, heated seats and cruise control. An instant design classic and cult car.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This BMW Mini Cooper is fitted with the 1598cc four-cylinder unit producing 115hp and maximum 150Nm torque to achieve 0-62 in 11.2 seconds and a top speed of 113mph. The engine bay is spotlessly clean, factory standard and displays all original stickers, labels and chassis/panel stamps. The factory optional automatic transmission with additional Steptronic steering wheel paddles for manual control operates seamlessly to offer the perfect blend of fun and effortless driving.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
17in Night Spoke alloy wheels are standard fitment to this Special Edition and remain in superb condition. The front wheels have only tiny outer rim markings and the centre caps have some miniscule chips, all difficult to notice. Matching premium Pirelli PZero tyres of size 205/45 R17 are fitted. The ABS braking system with Cornering Brake Control (CBC) and Electronic Braking Force Distribution (EBD) offers positive stopping power and brand-new discs and pads all round have just been fitted with zero miles covered.
HISTORY FILE
Registered new on 7th September 2007 by BMW Mini Main Dealer, Malton Motors Limited of North Yorkshire, this amazing example boasts credentials of one owner, full BMW service history and 41,135 miles. The original vehicle order form, sales invoice and welcome letters are made out to Mr Ruane who purchased the car for his wife Julie for the sum of £20,421.02. The original service record booklet shows four BMW main dealer stamped entries and the service indicator displays 7,850 miles until next service is due. BMW main dealer service invoices and check sheets accompany the stamped entries and every MOT certificate from the first in 2010 has been kept in the immaculate history folder. The original padded Mini wallet houses all the dealership literature from point of sale including handbooks and radio guides. Two original remote keys and a Mini Convertible Sidewalk new car sales brochure complete the history file.
Mr Ruane being a long-standing customer of KGF Classic Cars and having bought from us several modern classics, he is renowned for his fastidious care of his cars, both classic and every day. Having just ordered a brand-new car, this Mini was offered to KGF Classic Cars and knowing the car has been owned from new by Mr Ruane, we knew it would be exceptional.
