EXTERIOR
The second-generation Ford Scorpio, first shown at the 1994 Paris Motor Show, took the motoring world by surprise thanks to its remarkable looks. Unique to the Scorpio, this garaged example is finished in stunning Loden Green Metallic, (Code 3 5), which boasts a superb uniform finish and polished shine to the factory paint. All original panels are beautifully preserved with no dings and there only very light blemishes and scratches visible upon close inspection. All chrome trim, bumpers and badges are in excellent order with just a very light rub to each rear bumper corner. Factory etched tinted glass and original light fittings remain and the underside is structurally perfect with PDI markings visible and a pleasing absence of excess applied underseal. Unique, beautiful and wonderfully preserved, despite what the meanies in the motoring press said about it when it was launched!

INTERIOR
This top specification Ultima model boasts an array of standard equipment that would put many of todays cars to shame, let alone in 1994 when the car was launched. The full Raven Leather, (Code SB), is immensely comfortable and in perfect condition with no visible wear whatsoever. The list of driver aids are endless and all are fully functioning including the ice cold air conditioning, cruise control, heated seats and electric driver’s seat adjustment with memory settings. The dashboard, burr walnut effect fascia, door cards and trim are as new, and the carpets and headlining are pristine. The auto dimming rear view mirror glass has tarnished. Imagine travelling an air-conditioned, ruched leather armchair comfort with every possible driver convenience at your fingertips, with this Scorpio you need not imagine!

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The preferred combination of silky smooth power and relaxed cruising is Ford’s 2.9EFi V6 engine developing 150bhp at 5500rpm and 233Nm torque at just 3000rpm. A top speed of 124mph and 0-60mph in 10.5 seconds is more than adequate for this large executive machine. The engine bay is very clean with factory stickers, panel stamps and plates fully intact. The 5-speed automatic transmission performs perfectly for the effortless cruising this car was designed for.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The 6X15 ‘Tear Drop’ alloy wheels are in excellent order with only very light scratches. Matching branded Falken ZE310195/60 R15 tyres were fitted brand new all-round in July 2019. This executive express stops as well as it goes with the electronically controlled ABS braking system featuring discs all round, ventilated to the front.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on 23rd October 1995, the supplying Ford Main Dealer was Daron Ford of Hayling Island. This top specification Scorpio Ultima has covered just 27,379 miles from new with just three former keepers in total. The first owner being The Ford Motor Company before being purchased by the second, long term owner, Mr Graham Wilsher, who kept the car for 22 years. The original leather Ford zip wallet houses all vehicle handbooks, guides and dealership literature as well as the original stamped service book with eleven entries, eight of which were the supplying main dealer, Daron Ford. Completing the history file is an original Ford Scorpio range brochure. An almost forgotten chapter in modern Ford history, this exceptional plush, capable and controversially shaped Scorpio is without question one of the best preserved examples in existence and will always be the talking point on every journey!
