The quirky electrically operated vertical sliding doors function seamlessly with the toothed rubber belts working as they should. Idolised by BMW enthusiasts, this Z1 is without question one of the best in existence.

Many cars were ordered new with upgraded stereo systems and the Pioneer 3090 unit as specified on the new car invoice in the history file remains fitted. This Z1 interior is exactly as it sat in the UK main dealer showroom in 1990.

The spotless and unmolested engine bay displays factory plates and stickers and the composite bonnet wears the correct underside pressings and crackle finish.
