Rarest of the special editions with only 250 examples produced, this exclusive MX-5 Indiana has covered just 8,861 miles from new with only one owner. Finished in unique Garnet Red Mica metallic, (Code 25F), the stunning paintwork reflects the amazing credentials. The factory panels are pin straight and only a few light stone chips and blemishes the to bonnet edge are noticeable. All trim sections and bumpers are immaculate and the original Mazda Dealer number plates front and rear remain on the car. The black cloth hood is in perfect order with a tight fit and the much-improved original glass rear screen is heated. The epitome of a modern classic sports car, preserved to the highest order with amazing Special Edition credentials.

Standard for this Special Edition Indiana was the luxury Beige leather interior with heated sports seats which look fabulous against the Garnet Red exterior. The flawless seats remain in exceptional order and the beautifully crafted Nardi wood steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake lever look and feel superb with no wear whatsoever. The tailored MX5 over mats remain in place and protect the immaculate light carpeting. Incredibly, the paper factory labels that have usually fallen or been picked off remain in place on the centre console! The jack, wheel brace, unused space saver wheel and the tonneau are all present and spotlessly clean in the pristine luggage area. This interior is effectively as good as new!

To experience driving a super-low mileage Mazda MX-5 is a true motoring delight and this 1.8i model is no exception having been voted Britains best handling car in 2003 by Autocar magazine. The lightweight 1.8i litre 16v DOHC engine sits in spotlessly clean engine bay which will amaze onlookers. The engine is lively and power flow very smooth with a top speed of 127mph and 0-62mph in 8.5 seconds. The delightful close ratio short throw gearbox provides light and precise gear changes. Pure brilliance!

This exceptional Mazda still wears its limited edition factory 15” alloy wheels which are in superb order with only very faint markings to a couple of spokes, barely worthy of mention. There is no kerbing damage. New premium brand Dunlop SportBluResponse 195/50R15 tyres have just been fitted all round in August 2022 which have replaced the factory fitted Bridgestone items. The car features ABS (anti-lock braking) with ventilated discs at the front and solid discs at the back to install maximum braking confidence.

This amazing example was registered new by Mazda Main Dealers, Ilkeston Co-op Motor Group, on the 19th December 2003 to the first and only owner lady owner. The new vehicle sales invoice confirms the price paid of £16,300 less part exchange allowance for her 1998 Ford Escort. The history folder also contains welcome letters from Mazda and the Delivery Checklist Pack. The car has always been used as a second weekend car in and strictly garaged when not in use.

Absolutely all handbooks, manuals and dealership point of sale literature along with two Mazda keys with code tag are neatly contained in the leather Mazda wallet. The most recent service entry was in August 2022 at 8,861 miles and a documented cambelt change and brake overhaul was carried out at the same time. A further folder containing invoices and every MOT certificate dating back to the very first in 2006 fully verifies the mileage. Completing the history file are original Mazda MX5 range brochures and Special Edition Indiana booklets. KGF Classic Cars are delighted to be able to present this stunning super-low mileage and one owner example to the open market ready for a new lucky custodian who will further appreciate the exclusivity of owing one of only 250 Special Edition Indiana’s produced.
