EXTERIOR
Sporty, agile and consistently reduced down to the essentials, this one owner F 800 R has covered just 80 miles from new and is essentially perfect. The Racing Blue Metallic Matt/Light White colour scheme, (Code ND9), looks incredible and all bodywork faring, mudguards and decals are as new. The upside-down gold telescopic front shocks look awesome and the alloy machined parts and components are showroom fresh. All factory stickers and labels are present and correct and the identification and information plates and stock frame number stamping are clearly legible. All mirrors, light clusters, rubbers and other trim are fully intact and the super modern high-tech LCD display is perfect. The lockable sculptured thin racing seat with optional pillion cover is immaculate and offers height adjustment to suit every rider. A perfect example in every respect.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
A water cooled 798cc inline twin-cylinder 4-stroke DOHC engine produces 90hp and 86Nm maximum torque. Weighing just 202kg, this power machine achieves 0-60mph in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of around 125mph with punchy performance delivery. The engine and all ancillaries are pristine and exactly as the it left the factory. The 6-speed synchromesh gearbox features a multiple-disc clutch in oil bath and progress up and down the gears is rapid and precise. This is a very capable machine.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The racy satin black cast aluminium 17in wheels are in pristine order with no damage and factory fitted Metzeler Roadtec 170/20 ZR17 front and 180/55 ZR17 rear tyres have covered just 80 miles and still have the coloured banding within the tread! The powerful BMW Motorrad ABS brakes feature a 320mm double front disc and 265mm rear disc to offer tremendous safe stopping power.
HISTORY FILE
Registered new on the 23rd July 2016 by BMW Motorrad Main Dealer, Dick Lovett of Bristol, this example has had just one owner, Mr Christopher Miles. Having covered just 80 miles from new, this example is virtually indistinguishable from a new machine but with a large saving from list price of £7,595 even before the addition of factory optional extras! The factory build sheet confirms this as a UK bike along with the full build specification. The original plastic wallet contains the book packs, dealership point of sale literature and a range sales brochure as well as 2 original keys with code tag and dealer fob. In addition, the original spanner and Datatag UV Etch Fluid tube are still in their sealed plastic bags.
