EXTERIOR
Finished in Titanium Silver Metallic, (Code 354), the paintwork has a polished shine and uniform finish throughout. Some touched in marks are visible and minimal stone chips are present to the front. All trim sections and discreet BMW M badging are in excellent condition and the front screen still has the BMW airbag warning sticker attached. The black fabric hood is in excellent condition as is the expensive colour coded hard top included with the car. Being the desirable facelift model it benefits from the rear LED lights and “convenience opening” on the hood. All wheel arch apertures are beautifully clean. INTERIOR
Striking Imola Red Nappa Leather, (Code N51M), looks very sporting and offers a great contrast to the Silver exterior. Very supportive MSport seats and the driver inclined cockpit hint towards the race breed pedigree of this awesome machine. The clean upholstery portrays all the hallmarks of careful ownership with only the drivers bolster showing wear and worthy of a mention. The spotlessly clean carpets have been protected by genuine BMW carpet mats from new. The chunky M leather multi-function steering wheel displays the blue and red stitching and the door shuts are beautifully clean. Completely original and far superior to the usual offerings, this M3 has been beautifully preserved.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
A ferocious and true performance legend. Designed solely with pure driving exhilaration in mind, to experience the E46 M3 is an unforgettable drive and truly addictive. The 6 cylinder in-line powerplant is nothing short of a genius in engineering and under bonnet splendour is guaranteed as the area is spotlessly clean, exactly as it left the production line. All correct stickers and identification plates remain fixed. An electronically limited top speed of 155mph and 0-62 time of just 5.2 seconds is quoted. The 6-speed manual gearbox is precise with a short throw.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Standard BMW light-alloy double spoke wheels have been refurbished and Continental Contisport Contact tyres measuring 225/45 ZR18 and 255/40 ZR18 front and rear respectively have excellent tread remaining and are the correct type made specifically for the car with the M3 logo on the side. The high performance braking system featuring compound discs brakes safely controls the staggering power and is everything you would expect of this ultimate driving machine.
HISTORY FILE
Built in August 2003 and supplied new by Main Dealer Jacksons BMW of Jersey on the 29th September 2003, this example is the facelift model. A print out reveals a purchase price of £42,775 excluding on the road charges. A comprehensive service history highlights 10 visits to the supplying dealer followed by Independent BMW Specialist Ruellan`s Garage. A stamped service book, print out from BMW and invoices from Ruellan’s Garage help document servicing. An Inspection 1 service was carried in November 2017 at 64,176 miles and the Condition Based Servicing, (CBS), indicator states an oil service is not due for a further 11,500 miles. The current custodian Mr Jan Holloway has owned a number of BMW models and has just purchased another extremely low mileage E46 M3 in Phoenix Yellow to replace this pride and joy.
