This opulent flagship model S-Class Saloon is finished in beautiful factory optional Pearl Blue Metallic, (Code 348), over Andor Blue lower cladding, (Code 5301). The exceptional paintwork boasts a stunning high polished shine and uniform finish and all factory panels are pin straight and damage free. The beautifully finished trim sections and detailing are immaculate including the iconic three-pointed star bonnet ornament which depicts the makers inspiration to make engines to dominate land, sea and air, (the three points). Close scrutiny reveals nothing other than a few touched in markings, the rear screen has some minor delamination to the lower edges and one chrome door strip has a small ding. Innovative features include the Parktronic guide rods and the automatically retractable boot lid handle which ensures it is always spotlessly clean to avoid dirtying of fingers! Furthermore, the W140 series was the first car in the world to feature as standard double glazed side windows! This low mileage and pampered example will delight the enthusiast seeking unspoilt Mercedes-Benz excellence.

INTERIOR
The pristine interior of this luxury Mercedes-Benz is simply wonderful. Trimmed in original rare Grey Cloth, (Code 068), the upholstery to the seats and door trim is in remarkable condition with no visible markings or wear whatsoever. The headlining is spotless and fully intact and the carpets have been protected from new by genuine Mercedes-Benz over mats. The beautifully made fascia and switchgear is perfect and absolutely all interior equipment functions precisely as it should including the air-conditioned climate control. The first aid kit housed in the rear shelf compartment is untouched and even the Mercedes S-Class cassette titled, ‘Some useful and interesting information’ is present. Immensely comfortable and showcasing the highest quality Mercedes-Benz finish.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The 3199cc 6-cylinder engine 24-valve engine produces 228bhp and 310Nm rated torque to achieve a top speed of 140mph and 0-60mph in 8.9 seconds. The engine bay is immaculate in presentation and displays all factory plates, labels and stickers. The four-speed automatic transmission is perfect in operation and features Sport and Economy modes.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Original steel disc wheels with immaculate chromed rimmed covers look superb and all tyres are premium brand Vredstein 235/60 ZR16 that have covered approximately 7,000 miles with plenty of remaining tread. The original Pirelli P6000 spare tyre is located in the immaculate luggage area alongside the full toolkit, wheel changing apparatus and warning triangle.

Registered new on the 1st August 1993 by Mercedes-Benz Main Dealer, John Tallis (Bath) Ltd, this iconic W140 S-Class has covered just 54,685 verified miles from new with substantial supporting service history. A full complement of handbooks, including the stamped service book with factory build card, are contained within the leather A5 folder along with both sets of keys.
