EXTERIOR
This exhilarating car started out as an Austin Mini Thirty limited edition in Cherry Red. In 2013 a truly incredible transformation project was undertaken to create the very special vehicle offered today. Finished in Flame Red, this Mini instantly grabs your attention with a vibrant shine and beautifully polished finish from the expensive bare metal repaint, fully documented in a photo album. Structurally perfect with absolutely no corrosion to the panels, the fully de-seamed shell conversion has been carried out to an impeccable standard to create a clean aesthetic appeal. Virtually flawless, even under close scrutiny you will struggle to detect a blemish. All brightwork is excellent aside from very faint pitting on the rear number plate lamp cover. This very unique example really does mean business!

INTERIOR
Upon entering the cockpit of this marvellous Mini, you are instantly exposed to the original Mini seats and door cards in excellent condition. To lift the interior, a set of quality bright red carpets have been professionally fitted and features such as the Piano Black dashboard, chrome fixtures and Mountney steering wheel complete the look. One of the project parameters was to ensure that the original Mini charm was preserved, a goal that has certainly been achieved with the work carried out to the interior. A beautifully clean interior with only subtle hints towards what lays beneath the bonnet, very exciting!

ENGINE, TRANSMISSION & SUSPENSION
An absolute no expense spared mechanical build is fully documented with a huge financial outlay in order to achieve something truly incredible. Designed and prepared by renowned bespoke engineers, Specialist Components, their skill and capability is clear to see upon visiting their website. Using the original A Series engine, a BMW K Series 16v twin cam motorcycle cylinder head has been engineered with specification to include; 1380cc, Omega die-cast pistons, Kawasaki ZZ-R 1100 C Carburettors and Mini Cooper S steel H beam con-rods. The complete specification is truly exhaustive and all workmanship is of the highest level. Commonly with such conversions, it is necessary to use redesigned bonnet and wings in order to allow the engine to fit. However, the use of bespoke engine mountings has meant that the all important standard panel shape remains. This added attention to detail is exceptional and a recent rolling road in June 2017 confirmed output at 135bhp. The Adjusta Ride suspension kit and Gmax uprated shock absorbers give the car a perfect stance but with none of the original Mini magic lost, and the Sportex exhaust system with Klarius rear silencer creates a truly addictive bark!

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Ultralite 7×13 alloy wheels with polished rims are fitted, including the spare, with matching quality Yokohama 175/50 R13 tyres. These beautifully crafted rims are complimented by a Group 5 Race wheel arch kit to offer an extreme sporting look. This Mini stops as well as it goes with a vastly uprated braking system to include Mini Braided turbo Metro vented four pot callipers and Braided Aeroquip hose kit.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on 29th September 1989 by Austin Rover Main Dealers Seward Highcliffe Ltd, this example remained as a standard Mini Thirty for most of its life. The colossal history file covers the entire life of the vehicle before the transformation took place in 2013 with documents such as the original service booklet displaying supplying dealer stamps with supporting invoices. Furthermore, a truly eye watering collection of literally hundreds of receipts in excess of £12,000 for components alone offers an insight to just how comprehensive this project was. It is also a reflection of the owner’s desire to create the ultimate Mini at no expense spared. A large collection of photographs documents both the bodywork and mechanical workings and will leave in no doubt the exceptional level of craftsmanship displayed. An insurance marker was placed on the vehicle in 2001 following very light front end damage to one wing and slam panel. A repair invoice in the history file confirms the damage amounted to just £350 and is a reflection of the cars value at that time.
The vehicle born from this epic project is nothing short of outstanding in every respect. The classic Mini look mated to truly exhilarating performance, all carried out to the highest standard. Thrill seekers stop here!
