This exceptional high specification Jaguar boasts amazing credentials of one owner, full supplying Jaguar main dealer service history and just 23,733 miles from new. Finished in factory optional Zircon Metallic, (Code JHV), the paint finish is simply stunning and boasts a bright polished shine and uniform finish. All factory panels are arrow straight with no damage and only faint age-related scratches are visible upon close scrutiny. The supplying dealer number plates and rear screen sticker are still fitted and all trim sections and chrome finishers are in immaculate condition. All door apertures are spotless and factory stickers are still attached. The vehicle has been garaged from new. This example will satisfy anyone seeking a pampered and very low mileage Jaguar X-Type.
The SE specification full leather interior is trimmed in Champagne colour scheme, (Code SEL) with contrasting Bronze Stained Sapele fascia and door trim. Immensely comfortable and sumptuous, the beautiful upholstery is commensurate with the very low mileage with no visible wear or markings worthy of mention other than some very light hairline creases to the hide on the driver’s seat. The matching carpets are pristine having been protected since showroom handover by Jaguar tailored over mats and both the door cards and headlining are as superb. The highest levels of luxury continue with leather trimmed touch points including the immaculate tan steering wheel and handbrake lever gaiter as well as the wooden bronze-stained gear shifter. All controls and functions operate perfectly including the ice-cold climate control and cruise control. A pristine and luxurious interior, you could almost think you have been comfortably transported back to a Jaguar showroom in 2004!
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The silky-smooth 2.1 V6 24 valve Quad Cam engine produces 157bhp at 6800rpm and 200Nm peak torque at 4100rpm enabling a top speed of 130mph and 0-60mph in 9.4 seconds. Incredibly and unusually for a car having covered such low mileage, there are 18 service stamps from the supplying Jaguar main dealer in the service book confirming that the car has covered approximately just 1,300 miles between each service and hence the running and performance is absolutely perfect, smooth and quiet. The engine bay is pristine and displays factory PDI dabs and bright stickers. Part of the Auto Plus pack is the five-speed J-Gate automatic transmission with sport mode which operates perfectly and suits the V6 engine brilliantly.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Another feature of the Auto Plus Pack is the stunning 17” Cayman alloy wheels which are in pristine condition with no damage whatsoever. The original Jaguar Growler centre caps remain bright with some slight aging and all five wheels are shod in matching premium brand Pirelli 225/45 ZR17 tyres showing masses of tread. The Anti-lock braking system (ABS) has been maintained from new by the Jaguar main dealer and performs perfectly.
Registered new on the 23rd March 2004 by Rybrook Jaguar of Solihull, this outstanding example was purchased new by the one and only keeper, Mrs Cannon, who has covered a mere 23,733 miles and yet has taken the car back to the supplying main dealer for servicing every single year without fail! Such was the super-fastidious nature of the owner, the car visited Rybrook Jaguar in mid-March every year for its service with exception of 2021 when it was only in August that the last service was carried out with less than 100 miles covered since. A new vehicle order form and sales invoice in the history file is made out to Mr and Mrs Cannon, who purchased the car for £22,625 including factory specified options. There are zero former keepers on the V5 registration document and KGF Classic Cars were privileged to be contacted by Mr and Mrs Cannon and offered the chance to purchase their pride and joy Jaguar. There are 18 service stamps from the supplying Jaguar main dealer in the service book and a further huge history folder containing every corresponding Jaguar service invoice, checklist and MOT certificate. Both original Jaguar remote keys have Rybrook Jaguar fobs and all handbooks, guides and dealership point of sale literature are in the green leather document wallet. There is even the X-Type range and specification brochures that Mr and Mrs Cannon used and took notes in when they were choosing the car! Credentials, condition, performance and history, all are simply amazing and project this example into a completely different league when compared to the vast majority. Surely one of the best?
