This competition ready Mk2 Rally Sport Escort has been prepared to a very high standard with a no expense spared mentality to the build.  A photographic catalogue of the painstaking stage by stage construction will leave no doubt in the quality of works commissioned.  A fully seam welded and seam sealed rally shell combined with the latest proven FIA approved components has all the strength to deal with gruelling motorsport or the enthusiastic boy racer being road legal.  Finished in Diamond White it has a deep, gloss shine which is amazing and underbody detailing has created a virtually spotless delight.  Those preferring to exhibit rather than race will never fail to appreciate the under bonnet perfection and all over attention to detail.  Testimony to this is a first position at the 2015 Silverstone Ford Fair in the Concours Modified Class.

Never will a car evoke so much excitement simply by sitting stationary in this remarkable interior.  The owner will be transported into a world of rally heroes from the supportive Sparco seats to the wealth of fully functional gauges and switch gear.  The Pro2000 seats still have supplied packaging.  All equipment serves a purpose and even expensive accessories such as Stilo WTC Racing helmets are included.  With a Motor Sport Association log Book issued in April 2015 this interior is no gimmick.  Prepared to be thrilled!

Millington Racing Engines are a British engine manufacturer, well-known for producing the high performance, state of the art Diamond Series Engine.  With over 40 years experience of building, designing and manufacturing competition engines, Millington Diamonds are widely known as the ultimate engine choice for motorsport applications worldwide.  This example is fitted with the Millington Diamond Series II Engine Package with the latest DTA S60 ECU with wet map switch.  A rolling road session by C Bradley Motor Sport in June 2015 recorded 298bhp.  At a cost of £28,800 and customers such as the late Colin McRae one can expect the best.  Click here for details.  A Quaife 60G 6 Speed Sequential Gearbox with a Racing Super Clutch and quick fit alloy bell housing will give lightening clutchless changes should the owner desire.

Five immaculate gold 8JX13 Minilite alloy wheels are shod in FIA approved Dunlop CR311 R08 tyres which offer excellent handling, excellent braking and high cornering speeds but still road legal.  Phenomenal AP Racing Radial 4 Piston two piece cast aluminium alloy calipers grip the latest ventilated J Hook discs to all four wheels with force and a hydraulic upright ratchet locking handbrake helps steer the rear!  A bias pedal box is fitted.

This vehicle has come from a stable once housing some of the most desirable Mk2 Escorts including one of only two known surviving Ex-Ford Motor Company Series X Sport Saloons, KHJ184.  Work commenced in 2011 by Martin Gray, owner of Gray & Adams in Fraserburgh, and was built over 18 months to create his perfect Ford rally car.  A catalogue of 100 plus photos reveals every detail of the build process and once complete it was used for shows and weekend fun.  Then sold to Alex Wallace in 2012, a connoisseur of the RS marque and long-term member of the RS Owners Club, he embarked on taking this RS1800 Motorsport Escort to a competition level with an open cheque book to achieve a formidable MSA Approved machine.  Correspondence from the likes of Millington Race Engines, C Bradley Motor Engineers and Wayne Mitchel Ltd will inform the knowledgeable that this car has been worked on by respected industry leaders and the invoices from them will open the eyes to the less informed!  Once complete recent outings to the Lakes Tour and Silverstone Ford Fair have resulted in awards and trophies again helping to reveal the standard of work being offered here to a discerning individual.  A works Escort type registration number STW4R is included.
