Presented in truly amazing pampered condition this range-topping model is finished in Titanium Silver, (Code 354), and displays all factory original credentials in prime condition. Distinguishing exclusive 330 features include the titanium-coloured front grille, headlight surrounds and chrome plated tailpipes all in perfect condition. The optional climate front screen with green shade has a chip repair and all body panels are arrow straight. Factory fitted sports suspension results in the car sitting slightly lower improving the visual stance while sharpening handling. All trim, lenses and rubbers are immaculate and the low mileage professional upkeep is clearly evident representing a truly outstanding visual treat for all BMW E46 followers.

The interior specification reveals the most expensive upgrade with Sports seats finished in Soft luxurious Black Nappa leather, (Code V5SW), all in pristine condition. Factory fitted optional velour mats have been protected by BMW rubber floor mats, such is the care bestowed on this immaculate example. Instrument dials with matt chrome surrounds are an exclusive feature of the 330 model and enjoyable optional comfort features such as heated seats and premium Harman Kardon loudspeaker system will please occupants. The cockpit of this quality engineered vehicle puts the driver firmly in control with near perfect ergonomics and no apparent wear to all trim and touch points. As with the rest of the interior, the boot area is spotless containing a full toolkit, warning triangle, jack and unused spare. Beautifully exquisite.

For those that want true sports car performance the iconic 6-cylinder in-line 3.0-litre engine is awesome. Silky-smooth when revving up to 5900 rpm it produces 231 bhp and a whopping 300 Nm of torque despatching 0-62 mph in 6.5 seconds and on to an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph. The engine bay is pristine which displays every factory sticker, plate and label and even PDI dabs. The driver’s preference is the 5-speed manual transmission offering a sporting short throw and slick changes.

Optional M ‘V’ Spoke sports alloy wheels style 72M are 8J x 18 front and 8.5J x 18 rear with new Hankook 225/40 R18 and 255/35 R18 respectively. All four alloys are virtually unmarked. Vented front and rear discs with ABS incorporating Corning Brake Control (CBC) offers immense, safe and predictable stopping power.

A fascinating history. When Mr T Ibbott visited his local dealer, Sycamore BMW in Peterborough to order his unique specification 330iSE he was disappointed with the insistence that he would be well advised to order the 330 MSport model instead due to the options chosen. The importance placed on the chrome window surround, a N/A option on the MSport, was ignored and he left disgruntled. On discovery that he could order exactly what he wanted with no quibbling direct from a German BMW main dealer to UK specification and save a considerable sum of money on the list price too, resulted in the order being promptly placed and this example being first registered as a new car on the 5th April 2002. A specification printout confirms all the unique options and importantly, Option Code 0812, National Version Great Britain. Mr Ibbott cherished the car and on his passing ownership transferred to his wife who remained the custodian until 2015 when she eventually part-exchanged the car at Crowsons of Spalding, a main VW Dealer believing a smaller car would be more suitable. A vehicle much older than VW would normally retail as an Approved Car, the condition and mileage of just 13,625 resulted in an exception being made, and the car was soon snapped up by enthusiast, Daniel North once on the forecourt. Daniels dedication for the car was unrivalled working full-time at a prestigious franchise as a valeter, his knowledge on how to keep the car immaculate is clearly evident!

All handbooks, spare keys and MOT certificates are present along with a number of service sheets. The previous keeper has written his account of ownership since 2015.
