EXTERIOR
This very late 993 Carrera 4 Cabriolet boasts incredible credentials of one owner and 27,553 miles presented in factory original condition. The stunning Arctic Silver metallic paintwork, (Code L92U), displays a beautiful bright uniform shine. The factory panels are pin straight and nothing other than some frontal stone chips are evident. The factory fitted hood in Midnight Blue is perfect in operation and the condition is superb aside from one small hole to the outer layer caused by a cigarette burn by an envious passer-by. Underside inspection reveals the unspoilt condition and all consumables and the exhaust are in excellent condition. Porsche main dealer number plates remain fitted. The very last of the air cooled 911 and widely regarded as the best, this is a truly exemplary example.

INTERIOR
Typical Porsche quality craftsmanship is found in this example and the super low mileage with just one fastidious owner has seen the interior preserved in amazing condition. The expensive cost option full leather seat facings in Midnight Blue, (Code SC), are fully intact and firm with only very light hairline crease marks to the hide on the driver’s seat outer bolster. The carpets have been protected from new by genuine Porsche carpet mats. A beautifully clean cargo area contains the untouched toolkit, cellophane kneel mat, warning triangle and original Porsche compressor. Originality seekers will note the all-important factory option label attached to the bonnet underside, Mobil 1 sticker in the engine compartment and factory stickers in the door apertures. An unspoilt classic Porsche interior.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Fitted with the robust flat six Porsche Boxer Engine, this model develops 268bhp and 330Nm torque from the 3.6 litre unit to allow 0-60mph in just 5.4 seconds with a top speed of 168 mph! The punchy raw sound delivered from the exhaust system is guaranteed to set the pulse racing. The engine bay is clean, totally standard and all factory stickers and labels are intact. The inspection lamps to the engine compartment and front luggage area are both operational. The purists preferred 6-speed manual transmission operates precisely as it should.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The factory fitted standard 16” cast alloy Carrera wheels are in superb order having never been refurbished with only very light markings but no kerb damage. There is a chip to one spoke on the nearside front rim. Premium quality correctly rated Pirelli P Zero Rosso tyres of size 205/55 ZR16 front and 245/45 ZR16 rear have just been fitted brand new at a Porsche main dealer. The ABS assisted braking system incorporates 4-Wheel ventilated discs with 4-piston fixed monobloc callipers. Immaculate Porsche inscribed callipers in correct silver are clearly visible through the spokes and hint towards the racing pedigree infused within this car’s genes.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on 1st August 1997 by Porsche Main Dealer, H.R. Owen of St Albans, this exceptional UK C16 example is the very last of the 993 model and therefore the very last of the air-cooled 911 prior to the launch of the all new 996. Purists widely favour the air-cooled cars and regard the 993 as the best of the models, the perfect blend of technology and traditional Porsche heritage. This particular example boasts amazing credentials of 27,553 miles, one owner from new and full Porsche Main dealer and marque specialist service history. The vehicle history file is very comprehensive starting from the original order form and subsequent sales invoice and welcome letters detailing the options specified by the first and only owner, Mr Bradley, and the price paid of £73,145, a large amount in 1997! Throughout his ownership for the car’s entire lifetime, Mr Bradley has spent much of his time with the car including his brief spell in Switzerland.

The original Porsche document wallet contains all handbooks, guides and dealership point of sale literature as well as the Guarantee and Maintenance service book containing 16 stamped entries. The most recent entry has just been carried out in May 2021 at 27,524 miles by The Porsche Centre Cambridge and entailed a major service including all fluids and filters. A supporting invoice in the history file for £3,004.43 along with the service and condition report provides the next owner with total peace of mind. In support of the stamped records are all the previous service invoices from the Porsche Main Dealers and specialists filed chronologically in the history folder along with the spare key and fob set. Rarely does a car satisfy every collector credential in such spectacular fashion.
