SORRY NOW SOLD – SIMILAR WANTED

A classic chic Fiat Panda 750L with just 61,195 miles and full history.

EQUIPMENT
PVC underbody protection, plastic wheel arch liners, twin door mirrors, rear fog/reversing lights, heated rear window, water temperature gauge, reclining front seats, front head restraints, folding rear seat, inertia reel front and rear seat belts, driver and passenger door bins, front odds and ends utility shelf, rear parcel shelf, protective rubber boot matting.

EXTERIOR
This ultra-chic classic Fiat Panda is finished in original Fiat Turchese (code 401).  The paint finish has retained a deep uniform shine and bright polished finish.  Structurally excellent, this example truly is a rare survivor and the famously lightweight body panels display uniform if slightly large panel gaps, just as they left the factory!  Minor dings are visible upon close inspection, more notably on the driver’s door but are inoffensive.  Faint scratches around the boot lock are visible upon very close inspection.  A wonderfully clean engine bay displays factory stickers.  One of Giorgio Giugiaro famous designs, he was named Car Designer of the Century 1999 and inducted into the Automotive Hall of Fame in 2002. (Source Wikipedia).  This instantly recognisable design classic is simple, boxy and charming and this example has remained exactly true to his iconic creation.   All original trim sections and badges are intact and even the supplying main dealer number plates and rear screen sticker remain in place!  Now difficult to find in this original unmolested condition, this example is a real nostalgic delight.

INTERIOR
The delightfully sparse interior of this Panda harks back to a far simpler era of motoring with an emphasis on everything you need and not a lot more!  This humble 750L base model is surprisingly comfortable, the cloth seats and matching door trim is beautifully clean and wear free.  Many thoughtful design touches such as the movable ash tray and capacious door pockets remain intact.  The additional front utility shelf trimmed in matching seat material offers further storage space and the original carpeting is clean and intact.  All functions and controls operate perfectly and remain true to the manufacturers intentions.  Incredibly the supplying dealer tax disc holder even contains every previous tax disc from new!  Frugal motoring epitomised!

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Fitted with the 769cc fully integrated and robotised FIRE unit, this car produces 34bhp at 5250rpm and maximum torque of 42lbs.ft at 3000rpm.  To drive a classic Fiat Panda is a must for any car enthusiast with arguably more smile factor than many a car of higher prestige!  Quiet and incredibly economical (45.6mpg) due to simple single point fuel injection it will provide the new owner with very low running costs but maximum reliability and tremendous fun.  The four speed gearbox is light and precise.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Five factory standard steel rims including the spare wheel correctly housed in the engine compartment are shod in 135/80 R13 tyres with excellent tread remaining.  Very close inspection reveals a refurbishment to an average standard, however the wheels are still presentable and display the correct Fiat centre caps.  Independent brake circuits incorporating front discs and rear drums bring the car to a straight line stop quickly and safely.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new by Fiat Main Dealers Ouse Valley Motors on 17th March 1992, this example has led a truly cherished and pampered existence.  The original fully stamped service booklet displays no less than 19 stamps to fully document the 61,195 miles and serves to illustrate the fastidious servicing and maintenance this car has enjoyed.  Two sets of keys with the supplying dealer fob are present and operate all locks.  The Fiat PVC A5 document holder contains the Fiat Panda Owners Handbook, Fiat Aftercare book, Fiat Assurance book and other point of sale literature.

A seldom seen example on today’s roads, this little Fiat represents a versatile, practical and tremendously economical entry into modern classic car ownership.
