INTERIOR
Luxury, comfort and space in abundance, a cabin to overwhelm and delight! Trimmed in sumptuous Grey Leather, (Code 208), this was a £1,900.76 factory option and still presents as new today commensurate with the ultra-low mileage covered. The ergonomically designed seats have full electric memory and heated functions. All Burr Walnut cappings and trim sections are pristine, as is the carpeting having been protected by expensive Mercedes carpet mats from new. All functions and controls operate exactly as they should including the LCD display for the trip computer, clock and outside temperature which often fails. The cost optional Blaupunkt Washington stereo is a desirable feature. Inside the immaculate boot area is the original warning triangle, complete tool roll, jack and unopened first aid kit. The factory build sheet and the dealer supplied rear screen sticker remain. Impeccable Mercedes-Benz build quality and suitable for the most discerning collector.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The six-cylinder Mercedes V-engine of 3199cc displacement produces 225bhp enough to achieve a top speed of 148mph and 0-62mph in just 7.7 seconds, impressive for a large executive machine. WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Factory cost-optional 5 hole design alloys where specified as the owner believed they would be easier to clean than the standard 10 hole design! A few minuscule aging imperfections are barely worthy of a mention. Factory fitted Michelin Pilot 215/55 R16 tyres are fitted all round, including the unused spare which has the coloured banding still visible. The anti-lock braking system with Brake Assist (BAS) offers hugely positive stopping power to install complete peace of mind.
HISTORY FILE
Rarely does such an opportunity become available to buy a Mercedes-Benz W210 with just over 10,000 miles! First registered on the 1st August 1998 to C&T Licata & Son whereby on Mr Licata’s retirement the car transferred to him personally in November 2000. Mr Licata has been the only driver of this pristine example. Purchased from Mercedes-Benz main dealers, Cruickshank Motors Ltd, who serviced the car until 2005 and 6,625 miles before independent specialists maintained the car. A total of nine services are recorded, the last being in January 2021. The Mercedes-Benz A5 document wallet holds the service book with factory build card and nice keep items such as the Mercedes pen and note pad are included. An unopened Mercedes A5 envelope containing Supplementary Customer Literature remains a mystery and entirely at the new owners discretion to peal open! Dealer branded items such as the tax disc holder and key fob are also present along with two remote keys. This car really is the iconic, executive luxury vehicle rarely found in such amazing order and deserving of another appreciative home.
