EXTERIOR

Finished in factory optional Arctic Silver Metallic (code L92U), the original paintwork is simply incredible.  The uniform finish and undamaged bodywork is commensurate with such a low mileage well cared for example, and only very close scrutiny will reveal minor stone chips and faint markings, utterly insignificant.  Original dealer number plates are still on display.  The UV-resistant hood perfect in operation and fully intact with no damage and a clear rear screen.  An exceptional car in a condition far superior to the usual offerings.

INTERIOR

Typical Porsche quality and exemplary craftsmanship is to be expected in this well appointed cabin space.  Everything is arranged according to strict ergonomic principles, ensuring maximum visibility, intuitive operation and minimum fatigue.  The half leather seats with Alcantara, (Code X1), have remained in beautifully clean condition with only light crazing to the leather on the driver’s seat outer bolster.  The carpets are spotless which you would expect from this low mileage example.  All controls and functions operate perfectly with only minor marks to the passenger side lower dash.  Beautifully clean dual cargo areas reflect the minimal use and extended care this car has enjoyed.  The bonnet lid still has the original factory option sticker attached.  Effortless folding of the electric hood transforms this every day roadster into something truly special, with endless scope for open top enjoyment and exhilaration.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

Fitted with the robust flat six Porsche Boxer Engine, which encapsulates the powerful blend of boxer engine and classic roadster configuration.  Controlled by the Motronic ME 7.2 engine management system, Porsche Engineers developed 220hp from the 2,687 cc unit to allow 0-62mph in just 6.6 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph!  The punchy raw sound delivered from the exhaust system is guaranteed to set the pulse racing.  The 5-speed manual transmission has a short shift and is incredibly direct exactly as you would expect from Porsche.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES

The 6 J x 16 and 7 J x 16 light alloy wheels fitted front and rear with only the front offside wheel displaying small blemishes to an otherwise perfect set.  The tyres are quality Bridgestone SO2 205/55/ZR16 and 225/50/ZR16 front and rear respectively with masses of tread remaining.  The ABS assisted braking system incorporates 4-Wheel ventilated discs with 4-piston fixed monobloc callipers.  The Porsche Black painted badged callipers are clearly visible through the spokes and hint towards the racing pedigree infused within this cars genes.

HISTORY FILE

Registered new on 1st February 2002 this example has covered just 25,426 miles. Porsche Main Dealers Five Oaks of Guernsey supplied the car to a Mr Gill.  A total of 12 entries are present in the service book proving that despite the very low mileage the car has been well maintained with the last entry at 21,383 miles.

All handbooks are present and this car represents a superb example of an increasingly popular and good value sports roadster.
