A two-owner car with just 23,421 miles from new, the paintwork to the pin straight bodywork boasts a stunning uniform finish and high polished shine. There are no dings or damage to spoil the cars gorgeous lines and close scrutiny will reveal nothing other than light touched in stone chips to the front and bonnet areas. Jewel tail lamps and crystal headlamps with subtle chrome finishing’s add to the glorious appeal and all other trims sections are pristine. The Black fabric hood is as new and operates with seamless precision. Elegant, sleek and without question one of the best available.
INTERIOR
Fabulous in every respect is the factory optional Luxury Sport Interior featuring Softgrain perforated leather in 16-way electric adjustment and twin-stitching detailing to fascia/centre console, door cards and side panels. The blemish free hides finished in Warm Charcoal, (Code LEG) are exceptionally sumptuous. The seats are representative of a low mileage example with firm seat structure and supreme heated and electrically controlled comfort. Even the seat bolsters are adjusted electrically for optimum indulgent comfort! A modern Jaguar trim is the beautiful Aluminium Knurled and Piano Black facings which along with all other trim and carpeting is perfect. All equipment, media and navigation systems and high specification functions operate seamlessly. ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The sophisticated AJ-V8 4.2 litre 32 valve, all aluminium lightweight engine packs 298bhp and 420Nm of torque, enough to propel this Cat to 60mph in 6.3 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 155mph. The engine bay is spotlessly clean and all factory plates and stickers are displayed, the engine itself being a V8 object of beauty. The electronically controlled intelligent six-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift and sport mode operates superbly to deliver a seamless surge-like power delivery.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The gorgeous original 20” Senta alloy wheels were a £2,500 factory option and they look incredible with no kerb damage whatsoever. Original black and chrome ‘growler’ centre caps are still fitted with only very slight delamination, barely visible. Matching premium Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tyres, (255/35 ZR20 front and 285/30 ZR20 rear), have plenty of tread remaining. The immaculate boot area with Jaguar plastic mat houses the untouched wheel changing apparatus and original Pirelli space saver which is unused. The Trac Dynamic Stability Control braking system features ABS with Emergency Brake Assist and huge ventilated discs to all four wheels.
HISTORY FILE
This XK150 XK 4.2L V8 Convertible has covered a warranted and low 23,421 miles with just two owners from new. Registered new on the 17th April 2008 by Hardwoods Chichester Jaguar, the first owner was a Mr Rossiter who kept the car for over ten years. In August 2018 the second and only other keeper, Mr Harris, purchased the car from a performance car specialist for £22,500 with the sales invoice kept in the history file.
The service book displays 6 stamped entries, the first four being the supplying Jaguar main dealer. The most recent service entry was in August 2019 at 21,861 miles for a major service carried out by a Jaguar marque specialist as supported by the invoice in the file for £895.20. The black leather Jaguar document wallet houses the complete book pack. There is a further file of specialist invoices and a print out of visits to Jaguar main dealers for servicing and maintenance work. Two Jaguar key packs and an original sales brochure are present.
A fantastically preserved example of this modern classic Jaguar, it is sure to tempt the avid marque enthusiast and collector alike.
