INTERIOR
Fabulous in every respect. The blemish free hides are finished in Caramel full leather, (Code SEP) in exceptional condition. The seats are representative of a 11,869-mile example with firm seat structure and supreme heated and electrically controlled comfort. Even the seat bolsters are adjusted electrically for optimum indulgent comfort! The burr walnut veneer facings with matching colour scheme Caramel fascia and seatbelts harmonise with the upholstery perfectly and all trim is perfect. The Caramel carpet is also immaculate having been protected by luxury velour mats which in turn have been covered a second set of mats! All equipment, media and navigation systems and high specification functions operate seamlessly. Interior styling and opulence that is only found in Jaguar and few other marques.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The sophisticated AJ-V8 4.2 litre 32 valve, all aluminium lightweight engine packs 294bhp and 420Nm of torque, enough to propel this Cat to 60mph in 6.3 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 155mph. The engine bay is immaculate and all factory plates and stickers are displayed, the engine itself being a V8 object of beauty. The electronically controlled intelligent six-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift and sport mode operates superbly to deliver a seamless surge-like power delivery.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The gorgeous 20” Senta alloy wheels were a £2,500 factory option and they look incredible. Only close scrutiny will reveal anything other than a few tiny scratches and a small scuff to one rim to the otherwise fantastic condition. Original black and chrome ‘growler’ centre caps are all as new. Matching premium Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tyres, (255/35 ZR20 front and 285/30 ZR20 rear), have masses of tread remaining. The immaculate boot area houses the untouched wheel changing apparatus and original Pirelli space saver which is unused with coloured tyre banding and nobbles intact. The Trac Dynamic Stability Control braking system features ABS with Emergency Brake Assist and huge ventilated discs to all four wheels.

This early XK150 XK 4.2L V8 Convertible has covered an incredible 11,869 miles from new and was registered on the 29th June 2006 by Stratstone Jaguar of Derby to the first and only owner, Mr David Beasley. Mr Beasley was tempted to buy this model after Jeremy Clarksons glowing review and thrash on Topgear and subsequently rushed to his Jaguar dealer to buy one! Despite the exceptionally low mileage, a comprehensive history is evidenced with the original service book displaying 13 stamped entries, the last carried out at 11,733 miles. The green leather Jaguar documents wallet houses the complete book pack with dealership point of sale literature including the new vehicle handover checklist and build specification sheet. There is a further Jaguar file of main dealer and specialist invoices as well as previous MOT certificates. Two Jaguar key packs with Stratstone fobs are present.
