EXTERIOR
The unmistakable and elegant lines of this original BMW 635CSi are timeless. This beautiful example is finished in immaculate BMW Zinnober Red, (Code 138), and the paintwork gleams with a deep glossy shine. Incredibly low miles, optimal storage conditions and pampered upkeep have resulted in what must be, one of the most perfect untouched examples in existence. All exterior trim, glass and lights remain in excellent order and the extensive chrome brightwork has a glorious mirror finish. The front screen still has the running-in sticker attached and there is one tiny mark to a rear panel. The underside and wheel arch apertures are factory finish and very clean. The epitome of first class automotive engineering and one for the BMW connoisseur.
INTERIOR
The driver orientated ergonomically designed cockpit in this BMW 635CSi is pure sophistication and luxury. The factory optional contoured sports seats in Pearl Beige leather, (Code 206), are spotlessly clean and commensurate with the low 23,136 miles covered. The rear bucket shaped seats are wonderfully factory fresh along with all other interior materials. Carpets have been protected by genuine BMW velour mats and the dashboard is completely free from any cracks. All incorporated switches and functions are intact and operate as they should including all Liquid Crystal Displays and the check control panel boasting a full complement of LED lamps. Night time driving is instantly familiar with all instruments and switches illuminated by clear but eye-soothing orange lights. The factory original Blaupunkt radio finishes the retro 80’s look! The boot area is pristine and the tool kit complete. Attention to detail wherever you look.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The legendary and time proven BMW six cylinder inline engine needs little introduction. Fitted with the Digital Motor Electronics, (DME), grid controlled ignition and fuel injection, the power delivery is superbly effortless and smooth. The power output of 220bhp and 232lb/ft of torque propels the car through 0-62 in just 8.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 140mph. The engine bay is an absolute delight in its incredible detailed presentation with all factory plates and stickers confirming the true correct identity. The light alloy BMW wheels are unmarked and shod in specification correct Michelin TRX 220/55 VR tyres all-round replaced at a cost of £1147.20. The anti-lock braking system with sensor and wear indicator brings this true performance contender to a straight and assured halt.
HISTORY FILE
An impeccable and fully traceable history from new. First registered on the 21st June 1986 to a Mr WC Dickinson by BMW Main Dealers, Jacksons Garage Ltd of Jersey. Sold by them again as an Approved BMW on the 24 December 1990 as a Christmas present and indulgent treat to Mr and Mrs Simonian where it remained in their care up until very recently. Their upkeep, dedication and admiration for the car is fully witnessed by the huge history file comprising of no less than 22 BMW Main dealer and specialist entries with the last being in January 2020 at Sytner BMW Swansea. Accompanying invoices reveal the no expense spared mentality adopted to keep this prime example in fine working order and being a member of the BMW Car Club again reveals the owners fondness of the marque and this car. All handbooks, service book, old V5’s, sales brochure and even keys with a leather Jackson key fob is included.
