HISTORY FILE
This exceptional Morgan Plus 4-4 has covered just 5,957 miles from new with only one owner. Mr Marcall’s Morgan journey began with this car over 30 years ago in 1994 when he first enquired about ordering a bespoke Plus 4-4 built. Foresight on his behalf dictated the four-seater model because he knew that one day, he would chauffeur his two daughters in the car on their wedding day! The beautifully presented history file tells the story right from the start with pre-build correspondence from Cheshire Morgans Limited who were the supplying agent. Letters have been kept from the initial enquiry as well as confirmation that construction of the car would commence on the 27th October 1997. Order forms have been kept and the original sales invoice outline the eventual purchase price of £29,732.39, Morgan buyers well aware that due to the several yearlong waiting list, the final purchase figure is based on list price at the time of delivery, not order! Thankfully, Mr Marcall opted for the chargeable photographic build record which documents everything from frame up assembly to paint, interior, upholstery and finishing touches. All point-of-sale documentation, correspondence, handbook/service record, brochures and price lists from Cheshire Morgans Limited has been kept and date of registration was the 6th January 1998. The comprehensive history folder also holds every MOT certificate dating back to the first in 2001 and service records to fully verify 5,957 miles from new. Mr Marcall, a member of the Morgan Sports Car Club, has attended shows and even gained a trophy for Public’s Choice car at a prestigious event in 2022.

The most recent service was in March 2025 and a full inspection, cambelt change and brake overhaul was carried out in June 2025. A unique example and one of the finest Morgan Plus 4-4’s in existence.
