EXTERIOR
This amazing Alfasud is finished in its factory original colour of Rosso Alfa (code A.R. 530) which boasts a deep polished shine. The uniform finish to the paintwork is fantastic and all factory panels are straight and free from dings or damage. All trim sections are in excellent order and fully intact, although there is a very small ding to the back of the nearside door mirror. All glass sections, including the factory removable sunroof, and light fittings are security etched with the registration mark. A Tuff-Kote Dinol paintwork protection treatment sticker remains in the rear screen. The door shuts, sunroof channels and petrol filler recess are spotlessly clean. A very rare surviving Alfasud in show condition.

INTERIOR
The interior of this cosseted example is truly exceptional. A recorded mileage of just 28,625 miles is entirely plausible with the hot-hatch ‘Ti’ trim (codice interno 90127) remaining in stunning condition. The beautifully clean upholstery is free from damage or undue wear and only a slightly flattened driver’s seat bolster and miniscule nick to the upper bolster is worthy of mention. The deep red carpets have been protected from new by over mats and the door cards, headlining and dash are near perfect. Commensurate with any low mileage vehicle, the steering wheel displays defined natural veins. All dials and controls operate well including the additional oil pressure and water temperature gauges as fitted to all Ti editions. Even the optional Pioneer stereo cassette is fitted. The ultimate definition of retro Italian flair. Wonderful!

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The four cylinder 1351cc ‘boxer’ engine features two twin choke carburettors and electronic ignition. This standard set up remains unaltered in this example and the 86bhp output from the peppy powerplant enables a top speed of 105mph and 0-60 in 11.3 seconds. The spotlessly clean engine bay displays factory plates and stickers and original touches such as strut top PDi markings and correct screen washer pouch are pleasing to see. The five speed gearbox is light and a joy to operate. Lively performance and precise Alfa Romeo handling, an unbeatable combination experienced by so few.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Five speedline 5½ alloy wheels have been refurbished and remain in pristine order with no curb damage and all the factory lettering clearly visible. Matching Pirelli P6000 tyres of size 185/60 R14 have masses of tread remaining and the spare is shod in the original Michelin TRX rubber. Dual circuit brakes with servo assisted discs all round offer fantastic straight line stopping power in such a light weight nimble sports car.
