EXTERIOR
This stunning MG TF sports car is finished in vibrant Trophy Blue, (Code JFV).  The beautiful factory paintwork boasts an incredible near flawless finish.  Absolutely no corrosion or panel distortion sets this MG TF well above the usual offerings, fully commensurate with such a low mileage and well cared for garaged example.  All bumpers and trim sections are spotless with no scuffs whatsoever and the manufacturer badges and Union Jack wing plates are as new.  The immaculate durable woven acrylic fabric black hood is effortless in operation and the plastic rear screen is clear and free from crease marks.  The ever-popular gorgeous styling of the MG TF is displayed to the highest order with this example, one for continued preservation and enjoyment.

INTERIOR
The hugely comfortable yet snug ‘Ash’ cockpit offers real sports car appeal with open top motoring delights.  The Sebring cloth fluted seat facings with plain black bolsters, (Code PVD), are in perfect order, and the matching door cards and black carpeting are spotless adhering to such cosseted ownership and little use.  The dashboard houses fully functioning switchgear and the silver faced dials and chunky leather trimmed steering wheel accentuate the sporting nature.  The factory fitted Kenwood KDC4024 CD unit remains fitted.  The often misplaced rear tonneau is present and immaculate, and a full car cover is included.  A beautifully preserved showroom fresh interior, unsurpassed in its condition.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The four-cylinder 1796cc engine produces 136bhp at 6700rpm and 165Nm torque at 5000rpm enabling a top speed of 127mph and 0-60 in just 8.2 seconds.  The mid-mounted engine and rear wheel drive configuration displays all the correct sports car credentials to ensure optimum driver delight and smile as a standard feature!  A full service history including a cambelt and water pump change in March 2019 is added reassurance.  A spotless engine bay and luggage compartment are a pleasing sight to any car detailing enthusiast!  The short throw sports ratio five speed gearbox completes the package with snick and precise changes.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The factory original 15” square spoke alloy wheels are shod in quality Avon ZV5 185/55 R15 front and 205/50 R15 rear tyres with masses of tread remaining.  Only a very faint scuff to the nearside rim detracts from an otherwise near flawless set.  The spare wheel is wrapped in the original unused Goodyear item with the tyre nobbles and coloured chalk marks still visible.  The braking system incorporates electronic anti-lock assistance and discs all round (ventilated front) to offer positive stopping power.

HISTORY FILE
Supplied new by MG Rover Main Agent Ames Rover of Bury St. Edmunds on 18th March 2004, this outstanding MG TF has covered just 19,636 miles from new.  Sold by KGF Classic Cars in 2014 to the previous owner, Mr Michael Evans, the car has been cherished and enjoyed for 4,000 miles.  KGF Classic Cars are delighted the welcome the car back after Mr Evans embarked on a garage conversion and felt the car deserved not to be kept outside!  The remarkably low mileage is fully supported by the original service book housing 12 stamped entries, the most recent in April 2018 at 19,280 miles.  A documented cambelt and water pump change has been carried out in March 2019.  In addition, absolutely every MOT certificate and service receipt is present providing a clear insight into the hugely cherished ownership and regular maintenance this example has enjoyed, regardless of the low miles covered.  The original handbook and two keys with remote fobs complete the fantastic history file.

A pristine and increasingly collectable MG TF, wanting for nothing and ready for summer fun!
