EXTERIOR
The distinctive style of this very late build Rover Coupe looks striking finished in optional and desirable Pearlescent Nightfire Red, (Code CAQ). A pleasing bright gloss shine with all body colour trim items in remarkable condition owing to the low miles covered. The previous fastidious owner even took the wheels off spending many hours cleaning wheel arch openings and suspension components! All glass is Rover Tiplex branded with the supplying dealer sticker still in the rear screen and the front window has minor clouding to one lower corner. Some stone chips have been touched in by the conscientious owner and two dings to the lower passenger door can just be seen. Undiluted excitement is guaranteed with this unmolested and rare car.

INTERIOR
An atmosphere of sporting luxury is creating with this flagship model. The supportive seats with lumber adjustment are upholstered in Red Piccadilly cloth with Grey leather bolsters, (Code CDH), and are stunning with only minor wear to the drivers side, hardly worth a mention. All carpeting has been protected by genuine ‘Rover Coupe’ inscribed velour mats which in turn have been protected by Rover rubber mats supplied new at a cost of £42! The soft rounded curves of the facia and centre console remain in correct shape with all controls, gauges and warning lamps operational. The bright door sill tread strips are virtually unmarked and all door shuts are shiny clean. This incredible survivor displays its low mileage and low owner credentials with pride.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Fitted with the responsive and free-revving K Series 1.8 VVC, (Variable Valve Control), K-Series 16v double overhead camshaft engine developing 143bhp, 0-60mph is despatched in 7.8secs and a top speed of 131mph is quoted. Power seems endless and very eager thanks to Rovers advanced valve timing technology. Mature and enthusiast ownership with maintenance records and low miles offers reassuring mechanical wellbeing. The engine bay is gloriously clean with all manufacturer stickers, plates and branding proudly visible. Gear changes via the 5 speed manual box are light and precise, affirming once more the cars low mileage credentials.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The unique 15” 5-spoke sports alloy wheels specially developed for the 1.8VVC model are pristine and shod in new 185/55 R15 tyres. Diagonally split and dual-circuit servo assisted anti-lock disc brakes, (ventilated up-front) offer assured straight line stopping power.
