Large wide-opening doors give convenient access to a simply outstanding interior, one which truly deserves the often misused term of ‘time warp’. The spacious interior is tastefully upholstered in full black leather (code 031) with matching colour scheme carpets. The seats are in pristine order with no discolouration or cracking and the deep pile carpeting throughout has been protected by original fit Mercedes-Benz over-mats. The history file is simply incredible starting with the original Mercedes plastic wallet housing the service book, handbook and absolutely all dealership literature including the factory build card. Furthermore, a huge collection of main dealer and specialist invoices and receipts portray this cars cosseted existence and every MOT certificate from three years old serves to verify the mileage.

Much of the documented maintenance is from renowned UK specialists, The SL Shop, and a used car sales invoice confirms the car was sold by them to the previous keeper for £35,200 in 2014. Such devotion by the previous keepers to preserve all aspects of this car, even the majority of previous tax discs and an unused main dealer disc holder are within the history file.

Appealing to any serious collector wanting one of the very best preserved examples in existence, this 380SL will delight on every conceivable level.
