A pristine and very rare Fiat Panda 1000 Selecta with just 38,286 miles from new.

EQUIPMENT
PVC underbody protection, plastic wheel arch liners, tinted glass, opening rear quarters, rear fog/reversing lights, heated rear window, centre console, reclining front seats, tilt/tip front seats, front head restraints, folding rear seat, inertia reel front and rear seat belts, driver and passenger door bins, front utility shelf, rear parcel shelf, protective rubber boot matting.

EXTERIOR
This truly remarkable super chic Fiat Panda is finished in Fiat Bianco (code 210) with the paintwork boasting a wonderful bright pure shine and uniform finish. Incredibly, the famously lightweight body panels are completely free from the very common dings and panel distortion, and all original body fitments are structurally perfect, as is the underside. All original trim sections and badges are intact and even the supplying main dealer number plates, tax disc holder and rear screen sticker remain fitted! An iconic Italian fashion accessory in beautifully preserved order. Guaranteed to amuse and entertain and very rare in this condition.

INTERIOR
The delightfully sparse interior of this Panda harks back to a far simpler era of motoring with an emphasis on everything you need and not a lot more! The term ‘factory fresh’ is often subject to interpretation but is truly justified in this instance. Surprisingly comfortable, the Luxury style seats and matching door trim is spotless and completely free from wear. All switchgear housed in the perfect fascia feels like new and all functions operate flawlessly, including the original Grundig 3049 stereo cassette. The steering wheel and Selecta gear shifter display the factory natural veins to the surface only found on examples of such low mileage. The pristine boot area houses the uncut original parcel shelf and protective rubber mat as well as the factory paint code sticker. A real early nineties Fiat showroom experience!

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Fitted with the 999cc fully integrated and robotised engine, this car is surprisingly lively producing 45bhp at 5000rpm and maximum torque of 58lbs.ft at 2750rpm. Quiet and remarkably economical due to simple single point fuel injection it will provide the new owner with very low running costs but maximum reliability and tremendous fun. The spotless engine bay displays factory plates and stickers and even houses the original wheel brace and screwdriver ingeniously clipped into the washer fluid bottle! The superb Selecta ECVT (Electromagnetic Continuously Variable Transmission) was designed specifically for front wheel drive cars with small displacement engines. Unique features of the design compared to conventional automatics is evident in the smooth ‘take off’ with far less noticeable changes and lack of dragging or ‘creep’ when stationary in drive. The system in this example performs flawlessly owing to fastidious maintenance, with the lastest renewal of Tutela CVT oil carried out in July 2015 at less than 200 miles ago.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Five factory standard steel wheels are fully refurbished and shod in 155/65 R13 tyres with masses of tread remaining. The factory original Pirelli P8 155/65 R13 item is still fitted to the spare. Independent brake circuits incorporating front discs and rear drums bring the car to a straight line stop quickly and safely.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new by Fiat Main Dealer Crossroad Motors of Ashford on 30th September 1992, this example has led a truly cherished existence throughout its mere 38,286 miles. The history file consists of many previous MOT certificates to fully document the mileage as well as service invoices to illustrate the comprehensive care this example has enjoyed. Maintained annually by the same garage from 2001 to 2012, the vehicle has subsequently been subject to a full service with cambelt renewal and brake overhaul in May 2015, less than 1000 miles ago. The original Fiat Panda document folder houses the Fiat Owners Handbook and the essential Panda Selecta Supplement as well as other point of sale literature.
The original Fiat Panda is every inch a desirable cult classic, with this very rare Selecta representing one of the best preserved example in existence!
