EXTERIOR
This stunning Volvo is finished in the factory Gold Metallic , (colour code 105), and has a beautiful deep gloss shine. The brightness of this example helps to show the many concave and convex styling lines which really are amazing.   Detailed photographs of an expensive restoration in 2005 will ensure the new owner can enjoy this car with no structural issues to deal with.  A few tiny stone chips that have been touched in can be found on close inspection.  All the chrome is perfect with a deep mirror finish and all the badges remain intact.   A beautiful car.

INTERIOR
With the standard bucket seats still wearing the black leather from new this car feels comfortable, secure and solid.  The contrasting and original brown carpets are wear free and look stunning.  Beautiful instrumentation which gives the driver ample information is clear.  The headlining extending back to boot area is perfect and tight.  A later cassette player was fitted in 1982 and is operational but the clock has stopped working.  A practical and spacious 35 cubic feet boot area is immaculate and offers great versatility with the rear seats folded down. 

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Rock solid reliability, ample performance the B20E, (high compression), engine has it all.  Technically advanced in its day with fuel injection and a computer this engine produces 125bhp and is very smooth with a five-main-bearing crankshaft.  Simple servicing and excellent parts availability will ensure the new owner can continue to enjoy this car for many years.  The three speed automatic transmission is smooth and a delight with the ‘kick-down’ function operating perfectly.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Balanced pressed steel with safety rims. Chrome wheel nuts and trim rings all undamaged.  Four new 185/70 15 branded tyres.  The four wheel, power assisted self adjusting disc brakes are positive and bring the car to a quick safe stop.  Incredibly the vehicle was even fitted with special rear wheel pressure release valves to ensure stability during emergency braking!

HISTORY FILE
Enthusiast owned this vehicle embarked on a restoration in 2005 that now offers the next owner a fabulous, usable and importantly very sound vehicle to enjoy.  With a full complement of MOT history from new the mileage of 64812 can be confirmed.  Many invoices exist in the file showing regular maintenance and care.  For the first 26 years of the cars life Volvo Main Dealers cared for this vehicle.
