EXTERIOR
This special edition Ford Orion is finished in Radiant Red which is simply stunning. An amazing deep shine exists having been garaged from new and regularly polished it would stand proud in a new car showroom.  All Main Dealer livery remains in place including front and rear number plates, rear window sticker and privileged Dagenham Gold Card Customer sticker.  The grey bumpers and body side mouldings are perfect.  Probably as close to a new Ford Orion as you will ever get! 

INTERIOR
Incredible.  From the Shadow fabric seat material to the Dawn Grey headlining this Orion is beautiful.  Optional Ford rubber floor mats have protected the carpets from new and the boot area is spotless.  An unused spare wheel with the correct Pirelli P6000 tyre is present.  All instrumentation, switches and lighting are in perfect working order.  An expensive DAB radio has been installed with iPhone mounting to the dash but the original electronic AM/FM Stereo Radio/Cassette, (Model 2005), is boxed and present.  Special edition GLS soft feel sports steering wheel is as new as are the pedal rubbers. 

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
There is a lot of sporty appeal to this fabulous special edition Orion GLS as it is fitted with the then new 1.6 EFi engine with EEC IV management system developing 107bhp.  Having been Ford maintained every year from new the engine is perfect.  For those wishing to enter shows, the engine bay is spotless.  The 5-speed gearbox is light and precise having covered such few miles.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Fitted with the larger 6X14 steel wheels with special full covers these are in good condition with minor marks.  The 185/70HR tyres are new having been recently replaced by Ford.  The diagonally-split dual-line servo assisted brakes stop the car quickly and safely having had correct brake fluid changes stipulated by Ford.

HISTORY FILE
Not only will the new owner of this car enjoy the benefits of an exceptionally low mileage one owner car, they will do so in the knowledge that every year from new it has been serviced by the supplying Ford Dealer, (Dagenham Motors in Essex).   Registered new to a Mr Morris on the 21st January 1991 he then religiously returned every year for service work.  The latest invoice from this Dealer alone totals £992 and includes a cambelt change amongst other work.  This history is arranged in order and makes fascinating reading.  The full Ford Extra Cover Warranty Plan with RAC Membership was taken by the fastidious owner followed by the Dagenham Motors Gold Membership.  

All handbooks, service books, manuals are contained in the grey A5 Ford folder.  An A4 cardboard file with supplying order and invoice revealing a cost new of £10,010 is also included.  A showroom brochure from the period is also in the comprehensive file.
